I had stayed here before so I knew what to expect. Great location and friendly staff. We were staying during the Toronto International Film Festival (not deliberately and we only realised later) so that’s partly why the price was so high. The hotel is huge. My room was on 19th floor and was large with great views over the city. Clean throughout. Valet parking was expensive. We forgot about the habit of quoting prices net of GST so paid over $71 per night for parking (we had thought $63 was just about reasonable for the convenience compared to the adjacent public parking). Overall very good hotel and would stay here again. Read less

A good positioned hotel for seeing all the sights. We drove and valet parking was very efficient. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Good bathrooms. Lots of restaurants nearby and within walking distance of Blue Jay’s ground. A must see if you visit. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. There is street noise but this is a city!. Not given 5 stars as this hotel is very big and there weren’t personal touches. However we visited on a very busy weekend so it may be different out of a holiday weekend. Read less

It was quick check in. Rooms smaller then I excepted but then again I payed way to much for a view that was in the distance. Cold pool. Weird smell in hallways. And a mysterious church bell that went off every hr. All night long.

In the heart of downtown Toronto, right across from City Hall and the Eaton Centre, this hotel is in a great location for restaurants and things to do while not at your conference. Valet parking is offered by the hotel for a pricey $60 Canadian...it's entirely possible to find much less expensive overnight parking nearby, but then you'd have to schlep your luggage to the hotel and back, and deal with the confusion of finding the parking when you're new to town. We just did the valet - it worked fine, but remember to get everything you think you might need from the car so you don't have to get them to bring the car back until you're ready to drive it. A note about the elevators - this high rise hotel has two sets to get to the guest rooms (one for higher floors and one for lower floors) - make sure you select the right elevators! Another note - when we visited, the weather was unusually hot (over 90 degrees F each day), and the room air conditioner couldn't keep up, even when set at its lowest temperature setting. Read less

August 2025: Wonderful hotel. In a great location (directly across from City Hall/TORONTO sign), a block from the Osgood subway station, tons of restaurants around, about 5 or 6 blocks from Union Station. Staff friendly. Room clean.
