We have just returned having spent 10 nights here. Flights with BA were comfortable and on time and transfer to the hotel was around 15/20 minutes. We had a poolside walkout room on the Caribbean side of the resort which was fabulous and it was this that made our holiday. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves for the entire stay. People popped by and sat for a bit but we were on our own for the majority of the time. This might be because it’s very quiet and not really much of a drinks service although servers did come by occasionally. This was not an issue for us. We had our room drinks and the bar wasn’t far to walk to. Added with the occasional service, it was fine. We were also just a few steps from the beach so we could just go for a walk whenever we wanted to. The staff here are fantastic. I’m not going to single anyone out as the servers, reception, gardeners, bar staff, housekeeping and anyone else I have missed were always friendly. It was lovely. Our room was really nice. Cleaned every day and the mini bar constantly stocked up. We never had to ask for anything. Yes the rooms are a little dated, especially the bathrooms, but it was still a really nice room. Completely authentic and really comfortable. Our favourite restaurants were Bayside and Mario’s. Drunken Duck was also pretty good as was Soy. We thought Eleanor’s and OK Corral were a little rushed and found the menu choices here limited, however we never had a bad meal. Perhaps just not to our taste. My only disappointment is that you cannot get rose wine by the glass and feel that this should be included as I don’t drink red or white. The lunch buffet at Bayside was also really good. The entire resort is being refurbished which I can understand why. I just hope the resort doesn’t lose its charm and authenticity. We would come back tomorrow if we could have the same room/location but we heard that both the Frangipani and Flamboyant buildings are being demolished and being replaced by 5 story buildings instead with swim ups. What a shame, especially as we saw this as being a potential wedding venue. Also hope it doesn’t impact the wildlife too much. The beach here is amazing, crystal clear water, no seaweed and completely still and calm. Absolutely beautiful. This was one of our favourite holidays. Pure relaxation in the most gorgeous location. My wife and I stayed for 7 nights 8 wonderful days in the middle of May. We booked the Mediterranean Penthouse Butler suite, and were completely blown away by the room, the views and service. Our butler team consisted of Tanya Lee and Jason. Both of which were absolutely phenomenal. Both were so detailed oriented, coupled with impeccable timing, intuition and warmth, really made us feel special throughout our trip. My wife and I tend not to be overly picky or needy, but Tanya Lee and Jason, always seemed to have the ability to find us while we were out exploring the resort, beaches or hanging out in the pool. They picked out fantastic pool side loungers, with a cooler filled with waters, beer and white claws. They booked all of the restaurant reservations for us, even going so far to pick out ideal seating for optimal viewing of the breathtaking sunsets. The resort has a great layout and flow from the Mediterranean side to the Caribbean side. The courtyard between the two sides has a great resort shop, loyalty office, jewelry store, photo shop and my favorite, Cafe de Paris. I would be there each morning upon opening for ice coffees and if needed some treats for the room. Each Sandals resort should take note and include this at every location. Each dinner we enjoyed whether it be Elenor's, OK Corral, the antipasto bar/ buffet at Mario's (was my personal favorite, Soy. For lunch you cannot go wrong with pizzas from Bella Napoli, we enjoyed this several times, barefoot by the sea or a quick bite from the courtyard bistro. The main pool was fantastic with a good mixed crowd of all ages, but had a fun yet/ chill vibe for the most part. Lots of couples intermingling, very friendly, great bartenders and the occasional game being played. The beach was another highlight of the trip. Yes there are local vendors, but it was totally fine. We bought some Knick knacks and magnets from one, a tee shirt from another. A couple we met onsite booked a catamaran trip and said it was amazing. Otherwise a no thank you will suffice and they will be on their way. Back to the beach itself. Beautiful beach, after my last trip to the Grande St Lucian, I now have a new favorite. The long walkable beach was only topped by the calm beautiful water of this island. Pictures do not do it justice. We are booked for our next trip at La Toc, but will be rebooking our return trip for 2027, already cannot wait to return. Read less

Just returned from 10 nights. This is the 4th Sandals we have visited and yet again had a really good holiday. The options for food are as good as you expect when holidaying at Sandals and the staff are as usual generally very happy and polite apart from a few servers in the restaurants. The entertainment is ok but not fantastic. The bars well, The Drunken Duck is ok if your a drunken American and it's absolutely nothing like an English pub. The Piano bar is very quiet until 10pm when the Americans attempt to sing along to a man on a badly tuned piano. I'm not anti American and to be honest the majority there were very very friendly and well behaved but some do have a tendency to think they have a devine right to not wait till it's their turn to be served at bars. Big shout to the garden staff. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and spotless. Back to the restaurants. You can book one on Sandals app before you arrive and I would advise going to the concierge on 1st full day and book the ones you want for the week. Would advise take a blow up floater, you can buy them on beach but on line they are probably half the price. You can use them in the pool as it's sometimes a rat race to get a Sandals one. Would I go back to Sandals Antigua no as we don't go to same resort more than one. Is it the best I've been to no, St Lucia Regency La Toc is not just our favourite but favourite of the friends who we have been to Antigua and Barbados Sandals with as well. Read less
