It’s not kept particularly clean (rooms in need of update) also trash in outdoor areas. Everyone is made to wear cheap and tacky wristbands each day! Feels like school. It was packed everyday so often couldn’t get sunbeds and never any umbrella shades. I had to queue for over 30 mins every morning for a coffee. All food and excursions are extortionately expensive. Service is always added to the bill and then ‘extra gratuity’ is added as an optional - but if you don’t leave you become very unpopular. Most of the staff are unfriendly and don’t want to be there, it’s very obvious. I called to speak to a manager to express disappointment as it was out 3 day of constant drilling by our bedroom - and was told they would call me back………they didn’t!! Read less

The biggest let down is that this doesn't truly seem to be a 5 star hotel, but they definitely have 5 star prices! Service was the most disappointing in that they didn't honor our request for connecting rooms (despite the 3 confirmation calls that I made), which can be very difficult for a family traveling with children! After waiting an hour for our bags I had to hunt them down because no one knew where they were, and there were 2 issues where they said they would call us back but never did. The hotel is definitely due for a face lift so you will see things in need of repair, stains, etc. There is no mini bar/ snacks in the room, there is no convenience store at the Cove and most of the 5 star amenities are at Atlantis, but not technically at the Cove. Allow 30 minutes in the evening on the shuttle if going to dinner. Allow 90 min for breakfast at Perch. There was no Smart TV, there were some issues with electricity and Wifi, finicky toilet. Some pros were that the beach was lovely, it was never overcrowded, we didn't have an issue finding chairs at the beach or pool, and overall the employees were friendly and hard working (except our issue with upper mgmt). Food was just OK. Overall it's a very expensive "ok" 4 star hotel that somehow got lucky with that 5 star designation! We'll be choosing a different hotel next time. Read less

Its really a very nice place to get away for a few days. Its only a 45 plane ride from Ft Lauderdale . The team that runs and Atlantis and staff are all very helpfull . Lastly , the species and vary of marine life in the aquarium is a good as any public aquarium.

The room was great but the service and promises were not kept. I felt I was duped by getting Pitt Bull VIP tickets to the show saturday night and then placed so far left of the stage we only could see a screen LOL. I just got up and left. This was the reason we came out to enjoy 4th of July weekend away from my family and friends back home in Florida and was so dispointed no fireworks celebrations anywhere on the island I could see. The casino hosts where aweful with each one them passing these complaints & issues I had on to someone else who paseed it on to no one without ever taking care of it themselves and then finally just blowing us off.
