Buffet has great nightly options. Our chef, Paris, at the hibachi restaurant was amazing!! The dive shop is top notch with great dive sites through Dressel Divers. The entertainment staff is first class, especially String Bean!! Every day the guys and ladies went out of there way to make sure there was plenty to do around the resort. Even for a guy who "shaves his..... for this" Highly recommend for families or couples!! Read less

You can use the credit after spending money at Gift shop, Spa, Specialty Dining or Casino. Example. You spend $200 at spa and you get $25 off. Pool was HOT and I didn't see it get cleaned of the debris and bugs floating in it. Food was there so you weren't hungry for your stay..Nothing to write home about. Staff are rude some are not rude. It's… Read more

It's super basic and I would have opted to vacation else where but it was a family celebration so this resort is where they decided to go. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Wonderful staff and experience

The staff was wonderful. Tyra at the customer service desk was exceptional. Not sure how they managed to hire such an amazing staff. The only issue I had was that there was not enough attention given to the rooms to properly cater to guests who are wheelchair-bound.

The beach was beautiful and well-maintained, and there were plenty of chairs and shade. Food options were varied, with several restaurants offering good quality meals. Entertainment was enjoyable but not overbearing, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great spot to unwind, enjoy the sun, and experience a bit of Jamaica. Would definitely come back again. Special shout out to LeRoy, Chad, Warren, Rohan, Javena, Anecia, Kacia, the entire star prestige cabana crew, Alonzo, Stretch, and Wayne for the excellent service. Read less

It seems to me many of the reviews from other guest or solicited travel advisors is overrated. While the hotel has a nice location and the beaches and water are very pretty. The hotel itself is rundown and poorly maintained. If you want to enjoy the beach you have to share it with the local drug dealers. Many of the staff are very nice while others seem to feel like it is a chore to do the job that they have chosen to do. Getting your room cleaned doesn’t take place as it should and you have to repeatedly call to get it done. Our stay was in an oceanfront Junior suite which we paid a premium for and it left a lot to be desired. Read less
