The Suite Presidential provides the most comfortable and elegant stay that the hotel has to office. On the terrace, enjoy views of the Caribbean, sun loungers, and a whirlpool bath. Within the room, there is 2,100sq ft of space, with a large living area with kitchen and dining area, and two bathrooms. We tried the Japanese, Italian, and smokehouse restaurants and they were all amazing. I would definitely try to reserve these restaurants rather than going to the buffet every night to switch it up a bit. Also, the jerk chicken by the beach is a great alternative to sitting down at the buffet, especially if you want some great food fast. Our room was amazing and we had a great view and the bartenders are so nice. There is always entertainment from morning to night with time to relax as well. The ambassador, Asani is amazing and made sure our trip was unforgettable!

However, the check-in process left a bit to be desired. We arrived early as our flight came in at 10am. We were enthusiastically greeted by the staff but was informed that the rooms wouldn’t be ready until 3pm which was understandable as that is the usual check-in time. Once it was close to 3pm we were asked to come back multiple times to check in because the rooms weren’t ready. It was frustrating after a long trip, especially with no clear timeline after a long day of travel. That said, the situation was handled professionally, and the staff eventually upgraded our room as a courtesy, which was a nice gesture and definitely improved our stay.
Once we were settled in, everything was top-notch. The upgraded room was spacious, clean, and had incredible views. The food, beach and pool was great! Despite the rocky start, the rest of our experience more than made up for it.
Would definitely return—just hoping for a smoother check-in next time!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Waves. The staff is professional and friendly which is a great balance. I’d recommend placing mild appeasing air fresheners in the AC vents or the room itself. Because my comparison of the Lobby and the room is two different things. The lobby was smelling so good, clean, homely and inviting. Notwithstanding, I was not about to allow that to ruin my vacation. The food at the Jamaican and the Japanese restaurants were delicious. Simply mouthwatering. Big up Chef Marko amazing service & takes pride in his work. Oxtail and Curry goat, was to die for…..sell off!!!!! The Server at the buffet Tiffany… you are the best….
