We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Eden Bay in Jamaica. A big thank you to Kevon, the pool bar bartender, for his excellent service and great attitude every day. Thanks also to Richardo, an amazing and truly professional butler, always ready to help and make our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

I was to receive a response back from the manager concerning an issue. He was to respond on Tuesday 07/29 while we were still there. Upon check out on 08/01/2025, I was advised the manager have us on the forefront of his mind to contact us and will do so via cell. Over a week later, no call. Thus, here is a reason for my review. Breach of privacy. Upon arrival we were greeted by someone who appeared to be staff. She asked our names and we gave her the names we prefer to be called. While we were awaiting our room, we decided to grab a bite. Unwelcomed, the lady walked with us to the restaurant advising us that they were having an anniversary party and giving gifts to guest as a thank you. I immediately identified timeshare selling and she insisted no. We respectfully declined her invite and went in to dine. This lady approached us again after we exited the restaurant!!! Now with a sad story about not getting paid if we do not attend a free informational breakfast (all inclusive means breakfast at no charge) and she will give us free gifts. We were clear that after coming off a family vacation the week before, we just wanted to relax. We advised her should we wake early enough we will stop by her desk in the lobby. NO PROMISES!! This lady started calling our room phone at 6:44 AM about a presentation!! We advised NO THANK YOU FOR A FINAL TIME!!! It did not stop her from calling back to back and repeatedly!! We were infuriated because the only way she could have gotten our legal names and room information is from the hotel staff. They are proving guest information or access to this information to timeshare sales reps!! Next, there is no code of conduct at the pool on the adults only side. Activity in the pool and on the bar was simply unacceptable and disrespectful to those just trying to relax. Housekeeping was not as we were used to but the room was clean for the most part. Butler service is not traditional but we were advised of this upon check in. Toni was INCREDIBLE, while Samantha lacked customer service skills. The Entertainment Team was top tier!!! The DJ , band and violin player all were amazing!! Hibachi show was one of the best we’ve seen on a resort and the food was good. All of the food was good. The spa was great and the lazy river stole my heart. Our first swim out room and we enjoyed it. The resort was absolutely beautiful but I cannot say that we would return unless some practices change. Privilege is definitely not worth paying for if you are looking for the typical privilege experience. I left my AirPods in the nightstand in room 4139. The location is still showing the resort as last location but they advised not found. I am 100% deaf in my right ear so I only use the left pod at night for reading. They never left the room. I complained to guest services twice. I was told it was cleaned but yet a could point out the stains to one of the cleaning person. This is not a 5 stars resort maybe 3 stars. The flooring was dirty I had to wear my flip flops the entire time even when taking a shower. I needed a clothing iron and done as available. But I had an option to paid a fee to get it done. I cannot believe I had to buy an extension cord to use in the room because the outlet wasn’t working. The mini-fridge in the room was useless. I needed to freeze something and I couldn’t. The fitness center had 3 elliptical machines and all three wasn’t working properly, the enter button, quick workout button, the incline button, and stop or pause button was not working. Read less
