When arriving at Ocean Coral Springs, I was greeted by concierge and received my room info fairly quickly. The room was clean, very spacious and cool, everything was explained as well. I enjoy the pitdoor patio/lawn area. Overall the staff had the best customer service, very pleasant and helpful. I did have an issue with my door beeping, it was never fully resolved after the few attempts maintenance made to stop it. I wasn't in my room too often and the beeping would usually stop after 10 minute or so. The pool had fun activities for all ages. Nighttime entertainment was a step above the rest. The love music was excellent but the Michael Jackson show was my favorite. I tried mostly all restaurants and buffets, the food was absolutely amazing 10/10. I wished the entertainment and fitness classes were better advertised so I knew what was going on each day. I'd definitely visit again. Sean, Kinijah, Kikin, and Dedra were all amazing help to me finding class's and pointing me in the right direction. The ice bath on the beach after a workout was a great experience. The night i went to the Disco, not much was going on but it was nice to have a late night option where I didnt need to leave the resort to have a little night life. I booked a couple excursions and again the staff was very helpful and provided all the info needed I felt very safe on my solo trip. A great time was had! Read less

My stay was amazing at the Ocean Coral Spring. Jamaican staff was very hospitable and made everything flow through my stay. Check in took a bit longer than I expected but I was pampered with a delicious Jamaican welcoming cocktail while waiting. I was given a beautiful room with a cozy balcony and great view of the ocean. Absolutely comfortable!! Dinning experience was outstanding. The buffet restaurants offer a vast variety of food, fresh ingredients and flavorful meals. Waiters were kind and friendly. My favorite restaurants were La Locanda and Thali. Marlin restaurant offered a simple yet delicious menu and my waiter Kevin was amazing. He shared with me part of Jamaican culture and we carried on an interesting conversation while I was lunch here. I taught some fitness classes at the gazebo beach area and had the amazing help of Kikin who was always attentive to help me with anything I needed. I also tried the ice bath he offered at the beach in the mornings. Gym is well equipped although there was no AC neither ventilation of any kind, which made it very difficult to workout. Pools are amazingly large and the bar service close them offer lots of different island cocktails. Bob Marley was my favorite. Bar tenders were super cool and fun! The beach was peaceful and relaxing specially when lying down on the hamac that was hanging in the ocean!! Beach was well kept cleaned from the seaweed. The shows at the theater were very nice specially the Michael Jackson one. Live bands sparkled the nights after dinning and it was a nice way to end a wonderful day. Read less

Ok, so here's my honest review of the resort! Firstly, please ignore the negative reviews! We were so worried about our stay but needn't have been! We're 2 adults, 2 children, travelling from the UK so have been here for 2 weeks -25/05/25-8/06/25 Long enough to know how good the place is! We are staying on Ocean Coral Side and are not Privilege. Check in - great, very quick - no issues at all, shown to our room with some info about where things were. Welcome breakfast- we were not interested in a presentation so politely declined. We were asked a few times through our stay but never felt like we couldn't say no. Rooms- we stayed in block 1 Garden view room. We had a view of the pool and partial sea view. The room is spacious. I asked for 2 double beds before arriving as we didn't want the kids sleeping on a sofa bed for 2 weeks. We have 2 doubles, 1 sofa, a chair and plenty of dressers/wardrobes/cupboards for all our things. The room is clean but maybe slightly tired in areas. We had a couple of minor issues - hairdryer didn't work, sofa cushions were dirty. We contacted reception and these were immediately rectified. Room was cleaned well daily and the fridge aways stocked. We left daily tips for both. Pools - great pools, plenty of sunbeds, never had an issue getting the same beds every day. Life guards are 9 - 5.30 but you can use the pool before and after at your own risk 🤷🏼‍♀️ Main pool is so big, plenty of space and the swim up bar is brilliant. Staff are so much fun. Especially Nicholas. Nothing was ever too much and he always had a laugh and joke with the kids. The drinks are great, cocktails are brilliant and very strong!! Bar staff are very experienced and definitely know how to make a good drink!! The entertainment staff work so hard. Around the pool is so much fun. Cyril is amazing at his job. Lots of games and activities through the day. Kids pool is great, lots of slides and splash areas, with an additional pool for swimming. Lazy River, was good fun, although not all the things were working and it isn't very powerful. Our kids still enjoyed it, we just pushed them around! Beach - we're not massive beach people but like the sea and snorkeling. The coral side is quite rocky but not a problem if you have water shoes. Privilege/Eden beach is less rocky. We still swam over there and no one told us to leave. The sea is the sea in my opinion, free for all to use!! We obviously didnt use the beds though. The snorkeling wasn't great, we didn't see many fish at all really but booked a snorkle trip with Simpsons on the beach. We were taken 5/10 mins from the resort and had our own snorkle guide for an hour. Showing us the different reefs, explaining what things were, picking up sea urchins for us to hold. It was definitely worth it. We saw stingrays, puffer fish, squid and lots of different types of fish. I think we paid $170+tips for the 4 of us which we thought was a brilliant price compared to the snorkle excursions. Food - Restaurants- sakura(teppanyaki) and Italian are reservation only. The rest are a first come basis unless you are Privilege, which we weren't. We never really had to wait long for a table. We had a guy from guest services who actually booked a few times for us. I suppose if you don't ask, you don't get!! In our opinion the Indian Thali, was by far the nicest. We went twice. Lovely food and great service. Sakura, the teppanyaki was good fun, nice atmosphere and tasty food - again we went twice. Route 66 was nice, we went once but weren't too bothered about going again The Italian was nice, good service, tasty enough food - again we went twice Sugar cain was our least favourite. Slow bad service and average food, not worth the wait in our opinion. Under staffed maybe, always a long wait but never seems busy. The Buffet was great. Lots to choose from, live cooking stations, nice food. We never had any complaints in there and enjoyed everything we ate. We ate in there every breakfast, a few times at lunch and a few evenings. The staff were always attentive and friendly. We never tried red Snapper, we didn't feel the menu would be suitable for the children. And their was no kids menu. Only negative with most restaurants is that drink service was slow. We had room service a couple of times. Good service, nice food. Limited menu but that didn't bother us. Ocean burger is good for lunch, good food, good for kids The jerk hut is great. Very tasty but always a long queue. We had paella twice, cooked near the pool. Very tasty. Entertainment - great hotel for families. Bowling was great fun we went 4 times. Never waited more than 20 mins for a lane. Family lounge was good fun - plenty to do, pool table, air hockey, bar football, ps5's and other games. The VR place was good fun, but maybe slightly expensive. But the kids loved it. Evening entertainment was good but we didn't like that it was in a theatre setting so we didn't go much. We watched Michael Jackson, Jamaica show and Steel band. The band were the best. So good!! The live music bands outside the restaurants are great but not loads of seating. We felt Evenings were quiet and usually sat outside the coffee shop with a beer, playing cards. We obviously didn't use the disco and never went in the sports bar. Excursions - we did River tubing which was good fun and Dunns River Falls which is a must! So much fun! Overall we've had the best 2 weeks. The resort is clean, tidy and well kept. Wifi is good. Never had an issue. The staff work so hard. Everyone has been so friendly and always a smile on their faces. We made sure we tipped every meal, every drink, maid daily, mini bar guy and entrtainers. Basically anyone who we felt gave us a good service. We would definitely come back to the resort. Is it a 5*? I'd personally say more of a 4/4+ but everywhere in the world has different standards 🤷🏼‍♀️ Again, don't listen to the negativity, just enjoy your stay!! Read less

There’s a certain alchemy to a truly great hotel, a magic that transforms a mere holiday into a story. We found it in Jamaica, not in the crashing waves or the reggae rhythm pulsing from afar, but in the hushed, curated world of Ocean Coral Spring’s ‘Privilege’ service. It was less a holiday package and more a meticulously crafted bubble, designed to insulate two people from the rest of the world. Our entry into this exclusive realm was orchestrated by Sontay at check-in. This was no transactional swipe of a credit card; it was a quiet induction. With a warmth that felt entirely unscripted, she didn't just hand us a key, she handed us a different version of our holiday. Suddenly, the sprawling resort, with all its joyful energy, became a beautiful backdrop to our private experience. This human touch became the defining motif. It was in Ms Gay’s morning greeting at breakfast, a daily dose of authentic sunshine that had nothing to do with the weather. Her attention felt personal, specific; a quiet conspiracy to ensure our day began perfectly. This is the new currency of luxury: not opulence, but intuition. It’s the turndown service that happens as if by magic, the sense of being understood before you’ve even spoken. This philosophy found its most potent expression in the Privilege Lounge. Stepping through its glass doors was like crossing a border. The humid, vibrant air of the tropics gave way to a cool, quiet sanctuary where the only sound was the clinking of ice in premium-brand spirits. It was our private drawing-room, our library, our speakeasy. Here, cocktails were not merely mixed but constructed, and the à la carte dining was an intimate affair, a world away from the happy hubbub of the main restaurants. Evenings were often scored by the soulful notes of a solo violinist. It was a detail so perfectly pitched, it felt cinematic. The plaintive, romantic strings would drift across the terrace, transforming a simple meal under the stars into a scene from a film about two people falling in love all over again. And yet, the seasoned traveller’s mind always wanders to the next level of 'what if'. If the violinist was this moving, what would a private concert on our balcony feel like? If the welcome was this warm, imagine arriving to a suite where our personal playlist was already softly playing. These are the flourishes that separate the exceptional from the unforgettable. The surprise floating breakfast, a decadent display for an audience of two; a private sommelier to curate a wine journey telling the story of our meal; a chef’s table where the culinary artistry becomes part of the entertainment. The ultimate step, of course, would be a dedicated ‘honeymoon concierge’, a storyteller-in-chief for your romantic narrative. Someone to orchestrate a private sunset cruise or a cooking class in the hills, not as items on a menu of excursions, but as chapters in a bespoke story. We came to Jamaica to celebrate a beginning, and Ocean Coral Spring provided the perfect theatre for it. They have mastered the art of creating a beautiful, hermetically sealed world of personalised perfection. For a honeymoon, to feel like the only two people on the island, cocooned in a world designed just for you? Perhaps that is the most profound privilege of all. Read less

Checking in was unique! I like how they have the bracelet as a room key instead of having a key card and having the confirmation number as the wifi. I do like how they put you on a golf cart to take you to the room because the property is huge to walk around. For it being all inclusive it’s nice to be able to drink and eat all you want at any of the restaurants and bars! Make sure to make reservations for the Japanese restaurant early at like 8am because it’s a first come first serve and it’s a fun experience and the food was good! I also tried the Indian restaurant their naan bread, butter chicken and rice was delicious! I loved the lazy River, pool and beach it was pretty. The jerk hut on the beach is a good place to eat too! The beds in my room was uncomfortable and I don’t like how there’s no ice machines anywhere near the rooms it’s inconvenient to have to keep calling room service to get ice and they take a hour or more to deliver it! I did play bowling there which was a lot of fun but bring your own socks or they will charge $2 to get socks! Also don’t lose your braclet which is your room key or they will charge $100 USD per person same with towel card that will be $30 UsD per person. The experience overall it has its pros and cons and if you like to drink a lot this place is for you but for any foodies I would lower your exceptions because in my opinion the only restaurant that was really good was the Japanese and Indian restaurant and I was only there for two days so didn’t get to try them all but the ones I did try the food took long to come out and it wasn’t extremely hot but it was still a nice getaway for friends and family at this resort!
