The hotel room was cleanish, but there was a bad odour constantly coming from the drain in the bathroom which made it difficult to sleep at night. If you suffer from asthma, or have small children this hotel is not for you. We couldn't enjoy the pool as there were people constantly smoking weed by the pool. The whole hotel smell of weed. You can smell it sitting on the balcony. Food lines are long because we have compete with staff for food. Waiting in line for fruits and yoghurt. A staff member came with a big cup, fill her cup with the yoghurt and fruits and left the bowl empty. Ridiculous. ATM machine wasn't working for the week We were here. There's schedule timesfor different programmes and most times you show up nothing Is happening. I will not be going back to this hotel Read less

Beautiful Property, but would rate as 5 Star. My family if 5 stayed at this hotel for 7 days. It appeared that there were much to do at the hotel but we had to find out on our own. The check in process was smooth and the staff that checked us in was very friendly. Other than that, there were not many warm staff. I think the ones that were nice were very genuine, others had to force it. We had 2 rooms 1212 and 1214. One for my sister and her family and one for me and my son. My room was missing the swing on the balcony- the only room on thus floor. I inquired and ask if I could have one installed in change my room to one with a swing. I was told no to the change if room because the hotel was fully booked and no to tge install because the maintenance staff will not do it. I also informed front desk that the sofa has smoke ashes and was wet, they said someone would come to the room...Noone did. The bed sheets has stains even when they were changed. On the second day, I asked again about the swing informing that this was one of the reasons for my appeal to the hotel and was told that the swings were being removed from all balconies. The third and final day I inquired, guest services spoke to the supervisor and they stated they thought my issue was already resolved. I was promised that they would get maintenance to install a swing for me but they were not sure when the install would be. I was so confused. Let's just say that by the end of my 7 day stay, there was still no balcony swing. The food was good! We ate mostly at Martha's Market big up TerriAnn, she was awesome at customer service. We asked for her everyday we dined here. Sakura was our best restaurant experience Jouvan and Rohan provided tasty meal and service. Sugar Cane was great for their oxtail and goat meals. Ocean Burger served up tasty burgers, Hotdogs and chicken fingers. Good for the children. The Jerk Hut was good but understaffed, long hour waits and ran out if food. What a shame. We met Kedar (Thunder) and Joseph from the ENT crew. They were full of vibes and very friendly. The nightly shows were enjoyable. Lots of seats available in the theatre. I love the beach and sad to say this beach was not a highlight in my stay. There were 2 small beaches. One on the privilege side for premium members and adult only. Just an FYI, within less than 24 hours you are being pressured to commit to a premium membership which would have you forking out thousands of dollars right away for same. The beach at OCS was very patchy with seaweeds everywhere and a small clear area where guests accumulated. The water was very shallow. There is more to experience and I would leave to guests to do this. I don't let most things bother me on vacation but unfriendly staff and lack of attention to guests is a deal breaker for me. I did experience this sad to say....although there were a few that made a great impact. I am unsure if this would be a hotel that I would visit again for the money spent. I guess I can say that not being a privilege guest was noticed. I would not give this resort 5 stars. Good luck and I hope your experience is a good one. Read less

Let me start by saying that everyone’s expectations of a resort differ; however, if it claims to be a 5-star resort, certain standards should be met. I'm sorry to say, but I am very disappointed with this resort (OCEAN CORAL SPRINGS, JAMAICA). I booked a privileged junior suite, Ocean Front, from August 23 to August 27, Room 2236. Issues included: (1) The room smelled like smoke and other fumes or odors. (2) The white sofa bed had stains. (3) The canopy post was not connected to the bed and felt loose. I canceled my Moon Palace reservation for this resort. BIG MISTAKE. The resort refused to move me to a different room but sprayed something and claimed it was paint, not smoke. A non-smoker can tell immediately if there’s smoke. I was so upset because I had certain expectations from a supposed 5-star place. This was not it. During my stay, the staff was very attentive and helpful; however, they had to adhere to established rules, processes, and procedures. Room Service/Room: Room service is delivered in a paper bag, including paper to-go containers, plastic forks, and paper cups. The menu is very limited, and there are restrictions on how much you can order through the app; if you call, you might get the amount you request but not necessarily the variety. The minibar was disappointing! There was no consistency in housekeeping; dirty glasses or empty ice buckets remained in the room until you asked for them to be removed. The room never smelled like a luxury suite, and all the furniture seemed stained. Again, I believe the housekeeper is following the rules. I completed the survey left in the room and forwarded it to the young lady who checked me out. In the survey, I rated each area asked and provided some feedback, including suggestions for improvement. I have no other suggestions besides adopting an actual 5-star resort model like LeBlanc, Moon Palace, Secrets (although I haven't been to Secrets lately), and a few others. Read less
