We had a little hiccup with our room and it was promptly resolved and the next day they sent us a fruit platter and candy bowl expressing their apologies. We loved that the venue was smaller than the other ones very intimate and quaint. We meet many different couples. The grounds were very clean which was impressive considering as the foliage. We will definitely be back. And if anyone is considering visiting here I would say look no further this is your place.

What a beautiful and relaxing place. We had the best holiday that we've ever had. We loved everything about Couples Negril. We loved the water sports team who were helpful and very friendly, particularly Richardo and the Scuba diving team. We enjoyed a private dining experience in the treehouse and felt thoroughly spoilt and special. Every single member of staff at this resort, from the front of house, to gardeners, to the entertainment team went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. This was a perfect 'making memories' holiday.
The food was lovely with a great selection in several restaurants. The only restaurant we were disappointed with was Otaheti which we can only describe as 'naff'. The staff seemed to enjoy chatting to one another rather than doing their job. In fact, they completely forgot the wine that we ordered with our meal.
Rooms a large and clean. The rooms could do with an update (grout coming out between tiles on the floor and the furniture is looking a little tired and worn).
Loved the piano bar although the air conditioning was set so cold at times that it was too cold but this wasn't every night.
There's lots of wildlife including the beautiful Cattle Egrets and the harmonious tree frogs at night.
Despite our few negatives, we would return here at the drop of a hat - we loved it.

Lots of included activities, including a nice catamaran tour, glass bottom boat snorkeling, and even scuba diving was included for certified divers (2 boat dives per day). The beach was excellent, and plenty of other water sport activities (both included by the resort, and third party activities). Also the small coffee place hidden behind the lobby stairs was great, definitely try a cafe mocha.
The main areas of improvement for this resort are food selection and drink quality. Main restaurant only works as buffet on certain days, with a very limited selection, although quality was not bad. Rest of the days is menu dining, with very poor choices, and small portions. Servers also won’t let you order more than one side. Lunch was a bit better than dinner.
Drink quality was non-existent. Bartenders are just not properly trained. Just stick to beer and wine.

This was our fifth trip to couples Negril. As always, it’s a pleasant getaway with lots of relaxation to be had for everybody. The beach is phenomenal and the staff does a great job in general. A couple of observations over the time of coming down here for the last eight years are as follows. The pricing continues to go up, but the amenities do not. The spa is priced basically at a unfordable level for anybody so we chose to go off property and get spa services as a couple. If you stay in building six, you will for sure hear music until 10 PM. If volume is an issue for you, you will want to go to a building far from the main entertainment area for the buffet sale. The Asian restaurant was always a treat, but this time the food quality was pretty poor and the AC was not working in the restaurant. The buffet does offer some good food. They now operate all request through the app which was not known to us, but figured out after our first day here. We also noticed that our first to hear the grounds were somewhat behind on being clean and organized compared to previous trips. All in , it was as good experience we will be back. Oh, one last important thing, this year over the previous eight years, the smell of pot was very noticeable, and while couples does not permit smoking on the balconies, everybody does it, and they will not enforce any correction of it. If you’re out of pot smoker, which we are not this could be an issue it’s pretty annoying and pretty rancid.
We opted through the night experience, which we do not recommend. It was somewhat disorganized and chaotic, which added some angst given but it was night and we were in the water. They also permitted a man to be on the boat who is completely inebriated and ended up having the dragging back to the boat while in the water pulling him from the group. It was a concerning experience for anybody who’s watching.
