“Fantastic first visit”

First visit to Jamaica and did not disappoint. We stayed for 10 days only one day of complete sunshine which is very unusual but what made the difference were the beautiful Jamaicans. The staff at this hotel made up for the weather. On day one it was clear that there was a sun-bed problem as all the butlers reserve most of the beds. I quickly decided to rent a cabana hoping it was worth the extra money. Just wanted a guaranteed place to sit every day without my husband have to get up at some ridiculous hour to beat butlers. My husband never felt need for a butler but butler is part of the Cabana service & has convinced us to book butler service for next two bookings. Why? Our butler Najae was an absolute gem he made our holiday one of the best experiences we had. Greeted us with a smile every morning and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after every day. Hotel is a stunning resort very well maintained to keep it in tip top condition. The food was good but not perfect. I am gluten free and was very disappointed in the French restaurant when they gave me an option of one item from whole menu. The Italian restaurant was the best which was clear as there was a waiting time every evening. Another shout out was Decoda from Red Lane Spa. Best massage & facial ever. We rebooked Sandals Dunns River for September 2027 so we will be home again. Counting the days until we hopefully see Najae again.

When arriving at sandals dunns river right off the bus I was instantly blown away at the hospitality and customer service of the staff, they welcomed us with drinks and showed us to our room, offered a tour around the property. The food is absolutely amazing and haven't had a bad meal since being here. Property is so well kept and all the amenities are so clean. I made friends with Tiana from entertainment during my stay and she is a huge reason why I will be returning to Sandals Dunns River, such a ball of joy and genuinely wants to get to know you on a deeper level. Would 10/10 recommend staying here to absolutely anyone traveling to Jamaica

Spent 7 wonderful nights at this resort. It’s amazing. Beautiful grounds, the best entertainment at night and throughout the day. Tiana and Rebecca Jane were our favorite hype girls, cutest entertainers ever. Ray by day party by night was so great too! Shari in concierge and TtudyAnn were so great to work with. So many wonderful staff I wish I could remember all their names. The couples massage was amazing. The Blum coffee shop was our favorite place to walk too and the best docs. The food was 10/10 every single thing we ate was delicious. The view from the gym was incredible. The rooms were great and comfortable. Highlights were the superbowl party and Bob Marley’s birthday beach party. They really go all out and it’s incredible. I recommend hiking the Dunns falls it’s pretty amazing we went on a Sunday and there wasn’t hardly a soul there. We got to experience a really cool rain storm which we enjoyed as we sat tucked away in Blum coffee shops outdoor oasis. Beach chairs aren’t too hard to get but pool chairs are pretty much taken up by butlers by 6am. We prefer the beach anyway but it was a little windier on the beach most days . Beautiful resort we will be back!
