This Sandals has kicked it up NOTCHES! The service is incredible including Rebebbeca-Jane and Johnvoy. They make you feel welcome and always have a smile. The service provided is excellent and will bring me back!!

Overall a fantastic resort. I'm writing this review very very late and I've experienced other '5 star' holidays since that don't even get close to this place. We were here in August 2024 for our honeymoon. Here are the pros and cons i listed when we were here: Pros: Food is excellent everywhere with a lot of variety and presented well. Restaurant managers are regional to that particular cuisine so know it well and restaurant staff are very friendly. Entertainment team is excellent with some form of game or entertainment always going on. They work very very hard and appear to love their job. Beach sand itself is very clean. Free watersports is a huge plus. We used the kayaks and the glass bottom boat. Plenty of dining options or can eat at sunbed if you like giving you choice. Good air con in the room, central areas etc. Even the lifts are nice and cool. Rooms are very clean and kept spotless by the excellent cleaning staff. Bed is huge and very comfortable. We slept incredibly well. Evening entertainment is really excellent. The entertainment team do this and each are very very talented and good performers. It was my birthday while we were there and we go some lovely little treats and surprises. Service is quick and efficient in every department. Spa facilities are free, treatments are good. My wife really enjoyed her massage there. Cons: Pools are filthy and there's often scum left around the pool edges. Sea a little stony with some grass but you can generally find somewhere without it. Blum coffee staff can be rude sometimes and won't even look at you let alone smile. Staff not so friendly to English people. We were in the very minority as Brits and only met one other couple during our entire 2 weeks. We found once they heard our accent their smiles dropped and service got worse. Lack of menus for cocktails and drinks which makes it very difficult to know what to have as we are not regular cocktail drinkers but wanted to try some new stuff. If you have a later flight then you can't keep your room to refresh in or wait in. Harassment from spa people constantly around the pools and by the restaurants. They constantly pester you to have treatments. Had to pretend to be asleep on several occasions. Pool water in the main pool got very low on the last couple of days... was very strange even the staff didn't know what was going on. Eventually went down to about 4 foot before it started getting refilled. This also left bad scum and mess around the edge where the water was which was still not cleaned off. People were often smoking or vaping in public areas which is prohibited and this wasn't stopped or addressed. On several occasions this was at the bars and in front of staff (including management during the meet and greet). We had to put a complaint in via GINA in the end and we soon saw the owner and a manager doing a walk around and speak to several people which was great but shouldn't be needed. Lack of beer options here. Construction work on the tufta building on the 2nd week and was very noisy during the day and evening. Amazing! Book it! We’ve been to multiple sandals resorts. Tyrell at the bar by all the restaurants is so awesome! Makes you feel like you’re at your local pub.
