We enjoyed sitting on the balcony which overlooked the sea and pool. Sink design was a bit strange but didn’t bother us really. Comfortable bed and good shower. Food was excellent in all restaurants. We loved the breakfast choice in Saltaire although the buffet area was a little congested sometimes . Also enjoyed the salads there at lunchtime. Restaurant manager Dwayne was very friendly, polite and efficient. We spent a lot of our day in the pool with the swim up bar. We really had a great time with Andre and Aljay. They were always jolly and ready for a laugh. Very hardworking too. We enjoyed talking about premier league football with them. Antoinette at the beach bar was also so sweet and fun. Rum club was very nice , Liandre had so much energy and enthusiasm. Lapidus lounge didn’t seem to be promoted very well . Lots of guests we spoke to didn’t realise it was there. We had drinks there a few times , very pleasant atmosphere and staff. Just a few things to mention as feedback. Service was very slow in Galene the 2 times we went there. We also would have liked the bars listed on the app as well as the restaurants. Also would have liked some cocktail menus at the pool bars. We have to say all the staff were the happiest and friendliest we have ever encountered at any Sandals we have ever been to. Well done Sandals Dunn’s River. Must mention Paul luggage (front of house ) and sweet Shashwena in Edessa. We enjoyed the violinist/saxophonist/steel pan on the bridge every morning. Beach towels were plentiful and available all day. Only thing that was disappointing was the pool chairs situation. We were jet lagged (from UK) so up early anyway but unless you got down to the pool by 0500 to bag a chair you were unlikely to get some by the pools . The beach was very windy so people mainly wanted to sit by the pools . We understand the butlers need to get chairs for their guests which they did at 0430 but there does need to be more available for everyone else. All in all it was a great 10 days . If the pool chairs situation was sorted it would have been perfect. Read less

This resort is amazing. Can’t say enough about the friendly staff. We had a chance to spend time chatting with Rebecca-Jane and Tiana who are part of the entertainment group. They were so much fun and shared lots of information about the facility, activities and the island. What great ambassadors for the resort.

Visited Sandals Dunn’s River Fall for our anniversary and my birthday which happened to be on the same day and our vacation was nothing short of amazing, This is our third Jamaican Sandals location and so far the best. We stayed in a Mammee Bay Oceanview One Bedroom Butler Suite with double balcony with soaking tub and IT WAS WELL WORTH THE EXPENSE! Butlers Stanford and Patrick were awesome and both went over and beyond to make our stay exquisite! Their goal is to make your vacation truly memorable. We have had butler service in the past and our feedback from them was that we didn’t use them much so we made sure we stayed connected with both multiple times a day. If you decide to get a butler room and can request them by name, please do so. You won’t be disappointed! Patrick was more outgoing and Stanford had a more reserved charm that I found endearing. Room - 2408. Awesome oceanfront and pool views. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Stanford decorated the room for our anniversary/my birthday to include romantic disco lighting and signage! In room premium liquor, daily afternoon snacks delivered to the room, and nightly turn down service. Impeccable housekeeping service. Staff - no sour faces here! EVERYONE is truly engaging. It is obvious they love what they do! Some honorable mentions. Of course our butlers Stanford and Patrick. Ray, Rebecca-Jane, Tatiana of the entertainment staff. Ray was just a joy to talk to and watch, lol. He is just a bundle of energy - always laughing, dancing, and singing. He has a wonderful personality and I hope he excels with the Sandals company and he can sing! The management staff are always out and about interacting with guests. Loved the Managers Meet and Geet! Did not get the name of the lead gardener (we did the garden tour twice) and he is really proud of his craft and knows his plants. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably maintained. Dwayne, server, French Restaurant was a sweetheart. He took delight that it was our anniversary and my birthday and we had great conversation with him. Chevar - water activities - took us on the Hobie Cat and gave a detailed explanation on the sport and about the surrounding waters. Gregory, chef, Jerk Chicken Shack, was delightful to talk to and he shared his jerk recipe with us. I wish I could mention everyone by name as everyone was amazing! Beach - beautiful. Very clean. Nearly no seaweed. Abundant beach chairs/umbrellas. Good beach service for drinks and food! Pools - beautiful and large but not quite enough chairs. People get up very early to reserve them, so if you don’t get there by 7:30 they are all taken. A perk of butler service - they will reserve either a beach or poolside sitting equipped with a cooler with your beverages of choice. Food - very good! Jerk Chicken - amazing. Restaurants beautifully decorated! Loved Blum, coffee house, and the Dunn’s River Rum Club. Entertainment - very entertaining, lol. Lots of day and night activities. A shout out to the live saxophonist and violinist - did not get their names - for providing tranquil morning poolside music. Guests - some of the nicest people. Lots of honeymooners!! Overall - a very beautiful resort. Definitely would visit again! While there are many Sandal locations which I am sure are awesome - there is just something about the Jamaican vibe and people - so would most definitely would visit this location again! Read less

We had Ricardo and Dexter and LOVED THEM! Anything I wanted, they got. Craving pasta from the Italian restaurant at 830? Yep. They brought it to our room. It’s 90 minutes to the resort from Montego Bay but the ride wasn’t too bad and I’m super sensitive to motion sickness. Book the trip. You won’t regret it! Read less
