For slower days, Muluk Spa brings natural rock formations, jungle paths, hydrotherapy and ancestral rituals into the mix, while the beachfront setting keeps the Caribbean nicely close. It’s 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen’s 5th Avenue and 10 minutes from Xcaret, Xenses, Xplor and Xplor Fuego. Transfer time from Cancun International Airport (CUN): approximately 45 minutes.

Resort Fees

Guests staying in the Mexican state Quintana Roo are required to pay a travel tax of $11 per adult (over 15 years old), subject to change. The payment can be made prior to travel, upon arrival or during your stay, as the tax will be imposed upon departure. There is also an additional Environmental Sanitation Tax of approximately $2 - $5 USD per room, per night that will be added to your hotel bill (payable locally, subject to change).

Getting Around

Round transportation to Cancun International Airport and the Grupo Xcaret parks is included as part of the All-Fun Inclusive™ concept. The shared airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes from 9:00am to 5:00pm and every 60 minutes from 5:00pm to 9:00am. Shuttles to Xcaret, Xplor and Xplor Fuego leave every 20–30 minutes from the motor lobby; other parks, tours and ferry services require schedules and reservations to be checked with the Guest Service Manager.

Xcaret Arte has been an amazing experience all around. Upon arrival we were assigned a personal concierge-Jeremías was a delight. He reached out to us every morning to make sure all our needs were being met. At the pool area Alexis ( concierge) served our every need ( sunscreen, drinks, towels , etc) Ariel was always on top of things with our drinks and snacks . During our tours Fabian and Marcos provided very detailed explanations regarding the archeological sites. As for the food I loved the variety of restaurants offered. Very casual yet delicious like the Mercado de San Juan to the very indulgent experience at LeChique with our personal server Ociel. It truly was a unique experience that I recommend if celebrating something special. The entertainment, the parks , the food — hope to return soon .
