Resort Fees

Guests staying in the Mexican state Quintana Roo are required to pay a travel tax of $11 per adult (over 15 years old), subject to change. The payment can be made prior to travel, upon arrival or during your stay, as the tax will be imposed upon departure. There is also an additional Environmental Sanitation Tax of approximately $2 - $5 USD per room, per night that will be added to your hotel bill (payable locally, subject to change).

We had such an amazing time, Karla Veronica was an awesome help in getting us information and set up with reservations. Without her help we would’ve been all over the place with no plan. With her help we had constant planned fun and amazing dinner reservations everynight! Couldn’t have asked for a better host to our hotel Mexico trip!

First and foremost I want to say that I never leave a bad review unless I think it would serve everyone to know. And I think everyone should know that this hotel is not worth the money and you should not come here under any circumstance. While the hotel itself is beautiful it is terribly run. They boast 96% occupancy year round but what that actually means is that there will be lines for all restaurants you want to go to, no reservations at the other places you want to go, long lines for shuttles, long waits for drunker and over crowding at all the parks you visit. Also the communication tone and logistic were very limited: - When I checked in, the concierge told us that we had the worst rooms at the hotel - they did not tell us that we needed to book our transportation back to the airport two days ahead after we had already sent our arrival and departure information ahead of time, - My pregnant friend tried to grab a quick snack before leaving and was told to leave even when she mentioned she was pregnant and needed to eat - I was almost denied boarding to the shuttle bus back to the airport as I was asked for my check out slip which I did not have because no one communicated to me that I would need to get on the bus You would think with 96% occupancy that this resort would run like a well oiled machine but it does not. This hotel needs to hire consultants to teach hospitality and learn how to run efficiently. I personally would appreciate an apology for how terribly I was treated and how bad of an experience I had after spending a lot of time and money to be here.
