We had the best experience at secrets maroma. The food was delicious, our swim out suite was perfect, drinks were strong and staff was lovely. I especially want to give a shoutout to our concierge Roger Arroyo. He was always a text away and responded to us within minutes. He was a great concierge!

We had a medical need while we were there and the doctor at the resort came to our room along with the night manager and helped us. We were both very scared and they took care of us and got us the attention we needed! It pays to stay at a resort where they care about their customers! It can be scary when you are in a different country and have a medical problem but I will say that Secrets Maroma Beach helped us through it! Thank you very much! Read less

WELLLL worth our time! Like worth $500 which covered our massages and Hydrotherapy! Bars were amazing. Rooms were lovely and quiet. View from room was beautiful. Beaches and grounds were clean. Staff did their jobs. But the food was so bad that the only way you'll know how bad it is, is if I give it 3 out of 5 stars. Lol We stayed in Room 2243 (King size bed) with no upgrades. I am a pescatarian. But I used to eat meat and chicken... and I STILL wouldn't have eaten what they offered at the World Cafe buffet. Smh. Iberostar had FRESH food... not just fresh fruit... fresh FOOD. Secrets at Maroma Beach had guacamole paste. Seriously? What am I a child? I paid to get avocado toast in the morning or at least fresh Guacamole or avocado. Nope! I had to ask for it and the lady got some and cut it up for me. Overall if you're looking for a resort who caters to middle aged or older couples who have bland tasteless palates go to Secrets Maroma Beach! My Honduran self and my man clearly didn't belong there. But we DID love Himitsu! The Japanese restaurant. The Salmon and Veggie Pad Thai were 🤌🏾. Read less
