Although most of our stay was enjoyable, our memory was soured on our last night. I would like to preface this by saying that most of the staff were amazing, but unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience on our last night there. We stayed there as the final part of our five-week honeymoon celebration. We booked the beach restaurant in person two nights prior and specifically requested one of the tables close to the ocean as we wanted a special final dinner for our honeymoon before we flew back home. We also specifically requested one of these tables as having previously eaten at this restaurant, we had seen how noisy the areas where families are seated is. We booked it for 7 pm because we had an early departure to catch the 8 A.M. boat the next morning. When we arrived at the restaurant for our booking, the staff told us that they could not seat us at one of the tables by the ocean even though there were at least three tables available in that area when we arrived at 7 pm. What was most unfortunate is that the Manager Ki insisted on seating us in the noisy area in the back, did not explain why they could not seat us where we originally booked, and was not apologetic. She told us to come back at 745 pm if we wanted to sit in that area. When we came back, the staff sat us in one of the same tables that was empty when we first were there at 7 pm. The waitress provided excellent service and the food was excellent, but we would have expected the manager to at least apologize for the inconvenience, especially as this was our last night of our trip. We expected better of this hotel.
We also booked the boat for 8 am to catch our flight, but we were not made aware that this did not include transportation to the airport from the pier. Had we had known, we would have booked it. Also, the boat departed much later than 8 am which caused us to almost miss our flight. For these reasons, we cannot recommend this hotel, especially at all other hotels that we stayed at in our travels provided much better experiences.
