From the moment we arrived at Anantara Koh Yao Yai, we were cared for in a way that made this stay truly unforgettable. The manager attended to every one of our needs, and Joe made sure that both the property and our entire experience were absolutely magnificent. Kris was a breath of fresh air every morning, always bringing warmth and positive energy while helping us discover everything the island and resort had to offer. One of the things that impressed us most was just how many activities and experiences were available. There was always something to do, whether we wanted to explore the local community, experience the culture, learn something new, relax, or simply enjoy the beauty of the island. The team made it so easy to create a stay that felt full, meaningful, and completely personalized. Thus was incredibly knowledgeable about the many different things we could explore and helped us feel connected to Koh Yao Yai beyond the resort itself. That connection to the surrounding community and local experiences made our time there even more special. The hospitality throughout the resort was exceptional. Gummy, Top, Jenny, and so many members of the team were consistently kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an incredible stay. One of the absolute highlights was the cooking class that was arranged for us. The chef was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and engaging. It became so much more than simply learning how to prepare a meal. We walked away with memories, skills, and experiences that we can actually bring home and share with the people we love. There truly are not enough words to express my gratitude for this team and the experience they created for us. Anantara Koh Yao Yai gave us more than a beautiful place to stay. It gave us adventure, culture, connection, incredible hospitality, and countless opportunities to experience something new. I already cannot wait to return, and I can absolutely see this becoming part of my summer travels every year. Thank you to the entire team for making our time here so incredibly special.

Our stay at Anantara Koh Yao Yai was nothing short of extraordinary. What impressed us most was the genuine warmth, professionalism, and incredible attention to detail from the entire team. A special note of appreciation goes to Ant, our Villa Host, whose seamless coordination and attentive care made our stay completely effortless from start to finish. Every dining experience was equally remarkable thanks to the wonderful team at Pakarang Restaurant—Ann, Aum, Bow, Gem, Juny, Boom, Chuk, and Yamroll. Their welcoming smiles, prompt service, and sincere hospitality added a truly personal touch to every meal. If you are looking for tranquility, luxury, and unmatched service in Thailand, this resort is a step above the rest. We will definitely be back!

If you want to get away from the general madness of Thailand and have a relaxed holiday then this is a great option. The island is largely undeveloped but you never need to leave the Anantara. And the staff and service are exceptional.
