We’ve been here a few times because we have family nearby. This time, we are here on business. Starting with the cons and proceeding to the pros of a business stay. Cons: (1) Wifi/Cell Service. There is only one bar of cell service so you have to rely on wifi to make calls or work. If you need wifi while here, just don’t. If you need to work while at the hotel, just don’t. The wifi is spotty and weak. Sometimes it works; more often it doesn’t. When it does? It is too weak to reliably load a website, an inbox or to send an email. (2) Nobu: Yes, there is one, but it’s more of a vanity spot. The hours are limited, and the number of tables even more so. With those limitations, your chance of scoring a reservation at a normal dinner hour is little to none. We’ve stayed several times and never been able to. We stopped trying. (3) Privacy: Each time we’ve stayed, there has been a lot of disruption in the stay - knocks on the door even when you have the do not disturb on, telephone calls if you don’t answer the door. If you are looking for a place that respects your quiet time, this isn’t it. Pros: (1) The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean and nice. In terms of comfort, the hotel takes it seriously. The rooms are exceptionally well-maintained in both cleanliness and updates. You’ll find no sagging mattresses or over-washed towels here, and all the furnishings, top of the tv…every corner of the room…will pass the white glove test. (2) The people who work here are nice and truly want to help make your stay whatever you were hoping it would be. Final Say: Will we stay again, and is it worth the cost? Yes, we will stay again, but only over weekends and for pleasure when we know we won’t have to work while here. If you don’t need to worry about work calls or emails, it is worth the price of admission, but if you need to know you can make work calls, have zooms or email, I would recommend looking for a hotel with either better cell service or more reliable and stronger wifi. We stayed at Eau for our anniversary weekend and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The service level was top notch, starting with a super warm welcome from the valets and the reception desk and continuing throughout our stay. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and well appointed. We enjoyed a spa day on Saturday and the Eau spa definitely lives up to the hype. The facilities are gorgeous and the massages we received were wonderful. I was hesitant to book dinner at Nobu on Friday night after reading mixed reviews, but I’m so glad we booked. The restaurant is in a “pop-up” space while the permanent space is built, so the atmosphere doesn’t quite feel as elevated as the food. But we didn’t mind the current space and we were blown away by the food. The service was fantastic and we opted for the Omakase menu, which did not disappoint. We loved our dinner there so much that we decided to cancel our Saturday night dinner at Angle so we could eat at Nobu again. The pool space at both the main pool and the adults only pool was gorgeous. Very comfortable chairs, nice, large umbrellas, and great views of the beach. The service at the pool was excellent and the fresh coconut water was a treat. The beach area is beautiful and well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised at check in that we had been upgraded to a club room, so we were able to enjoy the club level amenities during our stay. The food in the club was fantastic, we ate breakfast and lunch there each day, which had a nice variety and the food was delicious. We also stopped in before dinner each night and had a drink and enjoyed the lite bites, which included a nice cheese and charcuterie spread each night and a selection of hot and cold dishes to order. The first night’s menu included a small Nobu sushi plate. The staff in the club were always extremely welcoming and friendly. Last year we spent our anniversary weekend at the Breakers and we both agreed that our experience at Eau far exceeded our experience at the Breakers. We found the service level and staff friendliness to be superior at Eau and the overall vibe at Eau, including at the adult pool space, was much more serene. By comparison, the Breakers feels very crowded and busy and our stay there did not feel as special as our stay at Eau. We will definitely be back to Eau! Read less

I booked Eau Palm Beach hoping to have a nice, relaxing getaway. In the summer, they have pretty good deals (for Palm Beach). I booked myself the Club Room with a full ocean view, though I feel I could have booked a Partial Ocean View and it would have been fine. The room was… okay. It was just a standard room. They make a big deal about the “Jonathan Adler” esthetic, and it was there… it just didn’t blow me away. The views from my room, full-on into the ocean, was the best part about the room. The rooms have balconies, which actually have a surprising amount of privacy, so you will feel like you’re in your own seaside villa. The spa is absolutely the best part about it this hotel. It is almost otherworldly in how beautiful and serene it is. They have a thermal suite, which I’ve only seen elsewhere on cruises, and they have a beautiful zen garden outside. The services were top-notch and everyone did everything they could to make you comfortable and relaxed. I stayed on the Club Level, and it was very nice, though I’m not sure it’s worth the upcharge (sometimes in the hundreds of dollars). They had a very filling breakfast and lunch, a pre-dinner cocktail menu which is nice, but definitely not a substitute for dinner, and desserts. They have premium liquors and wines, and everyone in the lounge area is so helpful and friendly. The staff is the best part about this hotel. They make every effort to know your name, and the whole staff really does a good job about talking to you like someone who always stays here, even if it’s your first time. I did read in other reviews that guests would often talk loudly about money. At first I dismissed it, thinking “Who cares? It’s Palm Beach!” But this was definitely on another level! Everyone was always talking about money, and trying to figure out how much money YOU had, and I was just trying to relax! Would I stay here again? Maybe, if only for the spa, but I believe you can book that without staying here. The restaurants were really nice as well, but aside from Nobu they were pretty casual and standard fare. I viewed this as a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and I felt like I had a good time. But the truth is, any standard InterContinental is more modern and upscale than this hotel (and probably most of Palm Beach). Like most of Palm Beach, it was too much… yet not enough Read less

Wait staff very informative for ordering & brought club soda seconds after my friend spilled a drop of something on her skirt- A+! They also made us a green salad off the menu bc we asked. Loved outdoor lunch by pool & restaurant- tuna poke bowl & shrimp green salad are wonderful. Spa steam room was quite pretty and spa services were lovely. Read less
