“Nice hotel but rooms are so small”

I really struggled with what to rate this hotel. The positives are the location, the staff and the cool, eclectic design of the hotel and rooms. There are so many restaurants in the area, it’s so close to the beach and the staff were so friendly and helpful. However, the rooms in this place are so small. There is no closet, no dresser or desk, no chair and no storage. The beds are pushed up against the wall so you can’t walk around them. There was one outlet in the room between the beds and one located near the floor which means if you are trying to charge anything it has the sit in the floor because there is nowhere else to place stuff. And the bedside lamps are on the wall behind the bed and so far up I had to kneel on the bed to turn it off. You can’t just reach over and turn them off. It was a very weird experience in all. It’s not a bad hotel at all and for two night it was fine for us but any more and the lack of space and storage would have driven me nuts. I was going to give this three stars initially because of that but settled on four because it is a nice hotel with fantastic staff. Just be aware that if you have 4 people in a room it is going to be extremely tight. It was just my husband and I and it was too small.

I had a great experience at the Moxy South Beach! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself has such a fun, vibrant vibe. The design is cute and unique, and the amenities were really cool — perfect for relaxing or hanging out. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the center of South Beach and just a short walk to the ocean. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish and fun stay in Miami!
