Solid AC location just across from Miami Beach

Newish clean fit out like most national AC hotels, professional & courteous staff. Good quality rooms, comfortable pillows and firm mattress. Safe location and just across the road from beach and The Edition hotel. Starbucks downstairs on corner. Very convenient and a great mid level MB option
Resort Fee Ripoff
May 2, 2025benjsnyderSan Diego, California
This hotel charges a $25 resort fee per day. It is not a resort. It is on a busy street in Miami Beach with no beach or water. After checking out, I sent a note to the hotel manager who said I should ask for the fee to be waived next time I stay there. There will be no next time.
Nice - Clean - Would Stay again

Nice accommodations, Clean rooms and lobby area. Room price Includes beach chairs and bike rentals. Short walk to the beach. Friendly staff.
In area of many other hotels so do need to drive or walk to restaurant area.
Would stay there again in future.
Would have been a 4 but the beds are terrible

I stayed here on Bonvoy points. I am a platinum member. We planned this trip for spring break week last minute so options in the area were limited as we wanted Queen beds not doubles.
Checkin took a little while as they had only one terminal open. The staff were great and if I was rating them alone the review would be 5 stars.
We were upgraded to a room overlooking the “sports deck” on the 3rd floor. My husband was skeptical but we really enjoyed our private terrace and used it a lot. This was a joy!
The hotel overall was decent but did feel a little run down. Didn’t bother me but suspect some might feel that way.
The pool was small but nice as it’s high up. No idea why they rent the cabanas for $75 when no one was using them.
Again staff were amazing. From the front desk to the restaurant, to the bar and the room attendants I have no complaints.
The downside - the “resort” fee is silly. Just change me more and call it a day.
The beds were horrible and gave us all backaches. The antithesis of the heavenly bed.
The location is a quiet section of Miami Beach right near the ocean. Nothing to hate there.
The beach attendant was fine but seeing how many reviews are about him makes me very skeptical. Are his friends writing them?
All in all no regrets but would love them to update their beds.

My home for the next week!

Really great experience on the beach today, me and my bestie had a lovely time. We booked the loungers and then went on to the bed, both very comfy. A lovely part of the beach also, we came a bit later so it was quiet and Pete (who works here) was lovely! Would definitely come back!
