Miami is never an easy place to visit even though I’m only an hour north of it and I’m originally from there! I usually only come down for friends or family that are visiting or for the food and wine festival. I hadn’t stayed at Eden rock in like 20 years but our friends from Ireland were there for two nights so we wanted to come stay as well. As expected, we pull up to a totally slammed valet without an inch to spare. The attendants were so kind and efficient! I have a toddler so I’m already extra work as it is. They unloaded everything at lightning speed, and even assembled my stroller perfectly. I specifically saved their names because I was so impressed Esteban, Max, Kenny, and Mackenson. The valet, digital system is flawless and so easy. I forgot the name of our room, but it was gorgeous, with a huge balcony 600 ft.² inside two queen beds and an awesome couch my son loved. Totally awesome bathroom with tub and shower. Everyone at the front desk was wonderful as well. I forgot to get names because I was chasing my kid around. Do yourself a favor and eat Nobu as much as possible. Especially at happy hour. I didn’t love the ocean social food, but it wasn’t bad either. I wish I had got the pizza. It looked good. Breakfast was OK. Ocean water so perfect a little windy so there was no umbrella service. We mostly hung out by the pool, which was really nice. Service all around was always great. We’ll definitely come back just maybe outsource food a little more other than amazing Nobu!

The highlight of my stay was Ms. Caren from in-room dining—on my birthday, she sang “Happy Birthday” with such warmth it truly moved me. The next day, another staff member surprised me with a slice of birthday cake. That level of service made my stay unforgettable. Eden Roc is lucky to have Ms. Caren!
