Definitely a pass from future stays! First appearances were of a new and fresh hotel. It was not until you began to walk about the hotel that this quickly changed. There is a lot of wear and tear and a general lack of maintenance. The front desk staff all seemed new and struggled with basic functions such as checking people in or addressing guest concerns. There was also no senior staff to assist in their learning. My room had a deadbolt that would not close. The front desk was made aware of this each day and failed to fix it during my entire stay. The floor in the bathroom was quite worn, and I had water dripping down from the ceiling the first night. One of the two elevators was inoperable during my entire stay, and on the last day, both elevators were inoperable. As a result, I had to carry my luggage down the stairs when I checked out of the hotel. Dirty plates and silverware were never cleaned from the sink. There is a "Manager's Special" from 5:00 to 6:00 pm of a specific alcoholic beverage in the Orange Blossom, depending on the day of the week. This is the least expensive alcohol available. The high cost of the rooms would lead one to believe that there would be a trained/responsive staff and a highly maintained facility. This was not my experience! The biggest issue was the indifference to my concerns from the front desk staff. At no time did they apologize or show empathy for my concerns. Read less

The hotel is close to everything and all of the workers were super nice. Never did I feel like I was being mistreated and that’s something that Miami is rumored to know for. I will definitely recommend to my friends and can see me staying there again! Only small opportunity for them is to fix the temperature of the tub, I’m not sure if it’s purposely designed like that but there was no hot/warm water flowing in it so it was not too enjoyable.
