My daughter was married there and we brought 75 guests and probably 130 room nights to the hotel. The pre-negotiated room rates were significantly higher ( often almost $100 per night) than what they were charging last minute bookings. I would expect that if one booked a large number of rooms, there would be significant discount. At checkout the front desk passed the buck and didn't seem to care. I escalated it to management and the cared even less. Overall, the hotel was nice and the beach was fantastic. My family and guests had a great time (most had no idea how much they were overchrged) and the wedding was perfect. Sad that the way I was treated has but a sour taste on my mouth. What a total miserable fail on this hotel's part. Also, most guests found extraneous charges on their bills which required reversal. If you don't listen to me and actually stay here, at least check your bill! Read less

Beautiful hotel in the Miami Beach historic style...lovely! Corner room on 11th floor had wonderful views of ocean and city. Small bathroom but nicely styled. The bar and lobby were elegant and make the place feel relaxing. The walk to the beach was easy.

No-one ever mentions gyms in there reviews which we are always looking for, so excuse me for jumping straight in. The gym is good here with selection of machines and free weights, more than adequate for a work out. The equipment does need some attention as bike did not work for example. The Reception was very warm and friendly at the hotel, the room was spacious by US standards but lacked a 100% functioning shower as clogged up with calc. The bar food and restuarnt was excellent although the cocktail we did have at the pool bar was somewhat interesting and not great. The staff were super friendly throughout. Location, there are a few nice coffee shops close by but need an Uber to get to Art Deco area for example. A good stay but with all the hidden fees and continual request for tips it makes you feel uncomfortable and unable to relax. Read less

Hotel was nice, clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Food at the restaurant was good. Location was convenient. The only service we were disappointed was the spa services. However, if the spa is not important for your stay, I’d definitely recommend it.

Mike Lopez was AMAZING! He is the kindest soul - he feels like home.. he made our time so much more enjoyable. Sometimes being on vacation can feel “very business like” as I said earlier, Mike makes it feel comfortable, and easy going. He went out of his way to ensure we were always having the best time we could / as a very large group!
