We recently stayed here and had a bit of a mixed experience overall.
On the positive side, the staff truly stood out. Everyone we interacted with was very nice, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The valet team in particular was fantastic : efficient, friendly, and went out of their way to assist whenever needed. The location is also a big plus: close to everything, with beautiful views that really made mornings and evenings feel special.
The room itself was clean, which we appreciated, but it felt pretty minimal in terms of decor, not quite as inviting or comfortable as we expected. Also, the two small balcony chairs were in rough shape: rusted and actually broken, so the balcony wasn’t really usable for relaxing.
A major downside was the elevators. They were extremely slow, to the point of being a real inconvenience. One time it took about 15 minutes just to get up to our room and then back down again. That’s not something you want to deal with on a vacation.
Another disappointment was the pool and beach setup. The pool closed at 5pm every day, even on Saturday, which felt way too early for a resort. Same for the beach chairs and towel service, everything shut down sharply at 5pm. It really limited our ability to enjoy the amenities later in the day.
Overall, while we enjoyed the kind staff, great views, and solid location, the early closures and slow elevators were hard to overlook. We had a decent stay, but I would likely choose a different hotel next time I’m in the area.
