The hotel

A brand new hotel within the Grove Resort complex, The Terraces offer the perfect balance between fun and relaxation. A smaller, modern complex (with it's separate check-in for ease), this brings a chilled atmosphere when you're hanging by the pool, or reading on your balcony, and is great for couples who still want to enjoy the thrills and spills of Orlando. Complete with a poolside bar, and a coffee/deli style counter in the lobby, you don't need to go far for anything, and with a kitchenette in the suites you can even heat yourself up a quick dinner in the evening. However, wander over to the Grove Resort and Waterpark and you have full access to a huge waterpark complete with slides, lazy river and more, an activity centre with arcade games, and a wider selection of bars and restaurants. And then just a stones throw away (well, a complimentary shuttle ride actually) you have Walt Disney World - the pinnacle of Orlando, where you'll find even more excitement.

Surf instructor Eric was great. Friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Great experience! Overall chill and fun place. Food was good for me but other colleagues were not of the same opinion. Rooms were very large and accommodating. Not over crowded.

My mother and I enjoyed our stay at the resort. Customer service was great whether at the front desk, especially restaurant. Staffs were friendly and sincere. Very clean surroundings. We had a 2 bedroom, they were ok with exception that my bath head wasn't working in the bath tube and had to use the other room. Also there was no hand soap in the bathroom and to call room service for request one. Beds were very comfortable. The valencia restaurant was ok and foods good, but there is limited options for lunch and dinner and of course no dessert. I wanted to try the flowrider, but it was down the entire of my stay. Pools and waterpark were good but can be dirty at times and recommend to be cleaned on a regular basis. I loved the lazy river and the waterslides. But overall it is a great resort and would definitely come back. Read less

Shaunte provided amazing service. She learned that it was my niece’s birthday and the last minute and surprised her with ice cream. She really assisted us in having a great time in our cabana. We will definitely be back. The resort is action-packed!

Based off of the reviews the resort itself is not bad, but I feel like the room that we received was a little runned down. It needed some TLC. The stove is like broken, you can tell it’s not cleaned properly cause the floors had like dirt on it still, dirty dishes put away, the bathroom didn’t feel that clean either. Based off of the reviews the resort itself is not bad, but I feel like the room that we received was a little runned down. It needed some TLC. The stove is like broken, you can tell it’s not cleaned properly cause the floors had like dirt on it still, dirty dishes put away, the bathroom didn’t feel that clean either. I’m honestly just bummed, but it’s such a pain to pack everything up and move rooms. The towels are like really low quality, very paper thin. The room we received was an ADA which is not what we requested so it feels like we are using a gym shower which really blew me. Did not have anything to sweep the floors with, no extra toilet paper, etc. we kept having to call housekeeping which is something that should have been provided if the room was cleaned properly from the beginning. Overall I’m not sure if I will come back again. Read less

The wave rider experience was totally worth the money. Jax was awesome with the kids and helped them learn to surf!! The service by pool for food and drink is also awesome! During the week is less busy so I would suggest that! Overall great experience, can’t complain. Thanks Jax!!!
