We cannot wait to return. Another special mention to the two Thai ladies who gave us a massage, the waiting staff especially those in the café & Shanee. There are many names I wish I had written down but we are looking forward to a return visit 😀 Read less

All the staff are amazing, very professional and attentive you feel truly valued. The rooms are spacious and are kept clean, tidy and restocked by the house keepers. We had a beach front bungalow and it was heavenly to step out of the patio doors in the morning onto the white sand , feel the warm morning sun and walk along the water’s edge looking for baby sharks All the food we had was delicious, all top quality fresh ingredients. We booked the dine around option so you have a choice of restaurants as well as the buffet. The beach bar was a lovely place to walk to for delicious cocktails and to watch the sunset. We went on a dolphin cruise which was fantastic there were so many of them . Kurumba is a great place for snorkelling, so many wonderful fish to see. The island is beautifully maintained and the resort manager is very present. Ensuring that everything is running smoothly. Kurumba is my favourite place for a chilled out relaxing holiday Read less

The staff are wonderful from the restaurants, the beach bar, the reception and management. Our room was cleaned daily, clean towels every day, and my birthday was acknowledged by all the staff they went above and beyond to make the occasion unforgettable. They are all truly special. For the first time we all did suffer from sand flea bites which was unfortunate, the hotel did all they could to keep on top of the problem but they are not Magicians, this problem effects all the islands this time of year. A big thank you to Ali, Morgan, Linda in the main bar, Isolm beach bar, Brian in the Thila restaurant and many more you are wonderful people. Read less

We returned to Kurumba for the third time, on this occasion as a family of five. From the moment we arrived at the airport until we finally departed, we were reminded of just how good the service is at this resort. The staff always went out of their way to take care of our needs, everything from bringing food for the children to taking us on excursions around the islands. We would highly recommend Kurumba as ever. There are a few members of the team who we want to call out specifically who worked incredibly hard to take care of us and deserve special praise: - Nur in the Cafe, an excellent member of the team and he looked after us. Amazingly, he remembered us visiting five years ago! - Rifsam in the Cafe also did a wonderful job and was very patient in dealing with our kids! - Layaa at Thila who was a smiling face every morning at breakfast - Brian at Thila who also did a great job in looking after us - Linda at Kandu who we saw every day at the pool. She memorised our (very specific) food order and was very attentive at all times. - Amil at Kandu bar who served amazing cocktails and gave us great conversation too! - Akhter at Kandu who also was a great support to us. - Swamy who made sure our room was spotless every day and was very flexible in working around our schedules! - Nabeel who was a welcoming presence on the boat transfer to and from the airport - Viroo who came with us on a trip to Shark Point and was amazing at looking after our daughter whilst we snorkelled. A really great guy. - Above all, Aik who accompanied us on various excursions including dolphin tour and Shark Point. He is an absolute credit to the resort - a knowledgeable guide, a great guy, who led our daughters on their first snorkelling trip and really went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing time. We hope to see him again on the next trip! Read less

“If we had just four days to spend with our family... where would we go?” That question lingered in our minds for quite a while before we finally decided to book a Deluxe Bungalow at Kurumba Maldives – a classic resort on a peaceful coral island. Although it’s only a few minutes by speedboat from Malé International Airport, it felt like we had stepped into another world – one filled with powdery white sand, clear turquoise waters, and pure comfort at every turn. This place had everything we could ever want in a family vacation. We chose the Full Board All-Inclusive package, which meant unlimited food, drinks, and – most importantly – happiness! Each buffet felt like a culinary journey around the world, from international favorites and authentic Maldivian dishes to colorful cocktails and desserts that made our kids’ eyes light up with excitement. Our Deluxe Bungalow was a perfect tropical hideaway – clean, spacious, and cozy enough for the whole family to stay comfortably. Just a few steps from the beach, we could even watch the kids play on the sand right from our porch. The staffs here were incredibly kind and genuinely warm, making our stay feel more like visiting family than just checking into a resort. There were so many family-friendly activities that we couldn’t possibly try them all. At the Water Sports Center, we found countless fun options on and under the water. The Recreation Center offered pool tables, ping pong, tennis, basketball, and much more. For the little ones, there was a splash area, outdoor playground, and even creative arts and crafts to keep them happily entertained. One experience we highly recommend is the private snorkeling trip to Shark Point. It’s about a 45-minute boat ride from the island, and when we jumped off the back of the boat, we were face-to-face with reef sharks and rays (completely safe and guided, of course!). The crew took amazing care of us, made sure we felt secure, and even captured incredible underwater photos for us to keep forever. Throughout our four days here, one thought kept coming back: “Time flies way too fast when you’re happy.” Especially when, at the end, every single family member said the same thing – “We’re not ready to leave yet…” Kurumba Maldives wasn’t just a resort – it was our little piece of paradise. We’ve already promised ourselves: if we ever get the chance to come back, we will… and next time, we’re staying even longer. Read less
