On the stunning Le Morne peninsula, along the white sands of Le Morne Beach and a turquoise lagoon, this southwest Mauritius hotel is right by the UNESCO-listed Le Morne Mountain and close to a kite surfing hotspot, One Eye. Transfer time from Mauritius International Airport: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Please note that if taking a seat in coach this may be longer depending on how many hotel stops are en route.

“Fantastic hotel in a beautiful setting!”

The St Regis has exceeded our expectations. Having stayed at other five star hotels on the island, the attention to detail and friendly staff coupled with good food is a recipe for a very memorable holiday. Arriving at the hotel after a 12 hour flight and receiving top class service until the day we left is nothing short of amazing. The hotel is set in a beautiful location and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. Our butler was outstanding and every member of staff made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Having always tried new hotels in the past, The St Regis will surely be one of the first that we revisit on the island!

From the moment I arrived at The St. Regis Mauritius, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance, tranquility, and impeccable service. The resort is truly a haven for those with discerning tastes, where every detail is thoughtfully curated to create an unforgettable experience. Dining at the Indian Restaurant was an exceptional highlight. Under the expert management of Ashwyna, each meal was a masterclass in flavor, presentation, and hospitality. The service was warm, attentive, and seamless every interaction reflected a genuine commitment to excellence. My final evening was marked by the champagne sabrage at sunset, a spectacular experience hosted with grace and flair. The ceremony, framed by the breathtaking view of Le Morne, perfectly captured the spirit of The St. Regis Mauritius: refined, celebratory, and timeless. The Iridium Spa is a sanctuary of serenity. My treatments with Marsha were extraordinary—her professionalism and intuitive care delivered one of the most rejuvenating spa experiences I have ever encountered. The butler service throughout my stay was flawless. Every request was anticipated with precision, delivered with warmth, and accompanied by a personal touch that made me feel entirely at home. Special recognition is due to Benoit, the Resort Manager, whose leadership is evident in every corner of the property. His genuine engagement with guests and commitment to excellence elevate the resort from remarkable to truly world-class. Last but not least Mai Tai was a wonderful bartender, our was attentive and creative.

I’ve travelled to many luxury destinations around the world and this is truly up there at the top of the list for the best service and experience I’ve ever received. Tej, Sonam and Seshna were attentive to every detail and went out of their way to make our time at St Regis truly memorable. So glad we chose the resort ro mark my 40th birthday. The facilities were world class, staff warm, professional and truly just a joy to be around. A special thank you to the resort’s chef for the culinary delight that was the daily breakfast spread, my husband and I came away well -fed, our bellies a little rounder and our hearts full :) - it was the perfect getaway all thanks to you all. Mr Mandla and Mrs Pumza Isaacs. P.S Will definitely be coming back.
