“Customer Sevice Needs Improvement!”

The accommodations were fine. But they need to improve their customer service big time. Here are two maddening examples of their staff being rude to a family who came a long way and paid a lot of money just to be treated poorly. 1. My wife sat in a chair at the pool to read her book and try to enjoy a rare moment of relaxation. Suddenly approached by a security person who rudely blurted out “you can’t move the chairs!” She said “I didn’t move the chair. I just sat down here.” And he said “well you need to move. You can’t be here!” It was so off-putting and so rude. She was stunned by the encounter. 2. At the end of our vacation we received a text to that said “Please send your details and I'll make sure you receive your earned points for your stay." I was surprised because we booked with visa rewards points. But I sent them all my info, and received a reply that said “because you booked through a third party provider you would be eligible for points.” This was all great news! But when I asked how to apply the points to my account, they said it was all a mistake and I didn’t actually earn any points. Even though they had JUST said I did! It was such an incredibly maddening encounter, one which THEY initiated, saying they’d help me! Then after 20 minutes of back and forth saying “Oops! Never mind.” We are so glad to be leaving there today!

“Coco rocks!!”

All the staff at Cambria were great, but a big special thanks to Coco, who works in the pool area. I was riding the water slide with my daughter and my credit card and drivers license fell out of my bathing suit. I had no idea, but Coco tracked me down and handed the cards right back to me. She wouldn't even take a reward as a thanks, she's just a good person who does right by Cambria guests. Thank you Coco!! You saved our vacation. Graham

“The hotel was better than Disney?”

I took my grandsons (17, 10, & 9) to California Disney. The boy’s LOVED the resort; water park, basketball court, pool movies & more! They met and played basketball with the other kids staying at the resort. I could have saved my park $$$$$ because I had to drag them to the park—they had a blast at the resort! There are several restaurants in the resort’s parking lot, and the Anaheim Garden Walk restaurants & entertainment district were just blocks away. Kudos to Mario for taking care of us during our stay. All the staff were great and provided excellent service, but special thanks to Mario!! When I take the next set of grandchildren to Disney, we’re staying at the Cambria Hotel & Suites Anaheim Resort!!
