Alternatively, head out in the car for 20 minutes or so for a bit of hiking, winery action or spa treats. “I miss the plants, but still a nice hotel.”

They took out all the plants and waterfalls in the lobby. That was the best part of staying at an Embassy Suites. Without them its just a bit boring. Besides that, the staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, and the included breakfast buffet was good. Good location about ten minutes from Monterey wharf.

“Disappointing stay”

We are diamond members. Our room was not ready at check in time (which was total chaos) and our shower didn’t work. I do not recommend this hotel. Front desk was not very helpful either with our shower problem at 6:00 am. This is by far my most disappointing Hilton stay.

It was ok. The rooms were nice but very loud with machinery outside the window. We were expecting two bedrooms but they did make up another bed on the sofa for us when we asked. The breakfast was nice enough but limited in the selection. There were lovely additions like the free evening drinks and snacks that made up for the parking fees. The staff were really lovely too.
