I couldn’t recommend this resort more. We checked in on May 9th with a last minute reservation. Ivan was the concierge that evening and put us in a wonderful room perfect for the family. I would highly recommend this location to allow you to escape the craziness of cannery row while still being centrally located and treated to a truly luxurious retreat.

Carpet in the rooms was awful. No restaurant was open for lunch or at 3 pm. Only the take away snack bar. The bottom floor rooms were noisy. You could hear every step someone took above you and when they flushed the toilet and when they sat down on their bed. The property itself is beautiful on the golf course. The fire pits were awesome and the ability to make s’mores was lots of fun. They have a great gym. I was there for a business conference all the food provided for the conference was really really good. I was just bummed out that you couldn’t find a place to sit down and have a nice meal for lunch or anytime in the afternoon.

Stayed here for the Big Sur Marathon and arrived very late after delayed flight. The staff was terrific and we stayed out at the end of the last building near the pet area. It was quiet and peaceful and, even though we didn't have a pet, we enjoyed seeing all the dogs. This is our second stay here and we have enjoyed both visits.

We had hoped for luxury (for the price) and got something closer to Motel 6. Very disappointing for the price. Room was really lacking. Door fell off hinges in bathroom; mattress felt old; glass door to patio took 2 to open; bacon for breakfast was practically raw.
Cockroaches

There were multiple cockroaches in the bathroom, and several in the main room, including one on the dresser and one on the nightstand. I was able to get a new room quickly, but the roaches didn't come out until the middle of the night so it was a pain to switch.
