Well maintained grounds, kids loved the patio games, fire pits and s'mores. Juicer at breakfast was a big hit. Very good service.

The drinks were expensive, but the service was good and there was a live singer. Although, I strongly disagree with the additional cost of parking on top of the resort fees, especially when you have nowhere else to park due to the hotel being surrounded by a golf course and a main road. We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. We were only there for a short time, but appreciated the different food options, including very casual dining out by the pool/game area... which was perfect for us traveling with our 3 year old. The gym/spa area was a really nice perk, as well as the pools and "hammock garden". This hotel was 100% booked when we were staying and we didn't have the most ideal location within the resort, but we were close enough to all the amenities and the room itself was clean and comfortable. We will be back and maybe we will stay for longer next time around, this was just a quick stopover on our way to another destination this time around, but we love the Monterey area. Read less

We’ve stayed at and visited the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa in Monterey for over three decades — for conferences, Chamber and other association events, weddings, festivals and more. This spacious and beautiful property, set right on the Del Monte Golf Course, is always a treat. The staff is always professional, well-trained and very helpful, too. Today, I stopped by for their limited time summertime barbecue on the patio near the pool, outdoor chess and ping pong tables. I took home a grilled hot dog, a salmon sandwich, a chicken sandwich, and corn on the cob — all fresh, flavorful, and perfectly grilled, and accompanied with great fries. Reasonably priced, too. Next time, we’ll enjoy it all al fresco on the patio. We are also looking forward to coming back for their jazz nights in the bar and more great dining. Highly recommended! Read less
