The entire hotel experience was perfect. Check in was a breeze, the room and bedding was perfect, a special birthday gift was waiting, and the pool and jacuzzi was welcomed after a day of golf at Del Monte. I could not have asked for a better place to stay for the weekend!

This hotel is outstanding! Our family went to Monterey for the MotoAmerica races at Laguna Seca. This was a convenient and relaxing hotel for us. Hotel has seen its better days. Rooms with advertised patio could be facing a busy and noisy highway, not intimate at all if you are looking for that. Check in staff were not welcoming/friendly as the brand usually is. Definitely a bad experience for a weekend get away, mainly decided to spend the time away from the premises and only use the room… Read more

Its a typical lipstick on a pig scenario. No offense to pigs. If the overall experience does not matter to you, stop reading as the rooms are renovated and sort of have clean bathrooms and good beds. Its a typical lipstick on a pig scenario. No offense to pigs. If the overall experience does not matter to you, stop reading as the rooms are renovated and sort of have clean bathrooms and good beds. Rest is sorry state. Cleaneliness: Room: Chocolate bar (Twix) wrapper left by previous guest next to bed. Room: Open Cramer pouches next to coffee maker. Pool: one next to conference center, had muddy and slippery areas around the pool and in a bad need of good pressure wash. Elevators: Where available, very old and slow and with messy/dirty carpet. Parking: If you arrive after 9pm, you will find parking but mostly not where you want rather 2/3 buildings away. Building Conditions: You feel like someone by mistake booked your room in a run down condo community. Very old/dusty/ tired exteriors. Spread out across multiple building, it is a huge property and maintenance is lacking across. Also, buildings with balconies on 3rd floor lack elevators, go figure. Bath and Face Towels are soft but remind of the charming TP advert, where they leave the pieces/shreds on your body. Overall, I felt like we been sequestered in an uodate room in middle of last century multiple bldg complex. Read less

Best place to stay in Monterey! You have a free airport shuttle, great walking trails and comfy beds etc. Gym is wonderful and the spa…wow the whole place is great!
