The magic of Disney meets the splendour of Hawaii at the Aulani. Relaxed yet regal, highlights include a white sandy beach, tropical gardens, luxurious lagoons and sparkling waterfalls. There’s also the most incredible water complex on-site with winding paths to explore, twisting through misty caverns and lava rocks, thrilling water slides, an interactive play area and 4 whirlpool spas, 2 of which are placed to capture perfectly the Hawaiian sunset! There are water sports in abundance on the beach as well as your own private snorkelling lagoon – Rainbow Reef – offering you close encounters with Angel Fish, Butterfly Fish, Tangs and many, many more. Aunty’s Beach House is a uniquely themed kids’ club with a whole range of exciting activities including traditional wildlife and nature excursions, Hawaiian games, video games, arts and crafts and, of course, Disney movies galore! Whilst younger members of the family are busy, treat yourself to a spa visit, soaking up the serene atmosphere that prevails and waving any lingering cares goodbye. There’s also a state-of-the-art health club with cardio equipment to keep you trim, yoga and tai chi classes. Four restaurants incorporate a fusion of flavours from round the world, using the finest local ingredients to tantalise your taste buds. What a great vacation! We took the kids/grandkids and had a blast. The accomodations are incredible and the staff is well trained to meet your expectations. It will be a vacation that we'll all remember for a very long time. The only thing to make a note of is excursions are not real close so getting anywhere requires a rental vehicle (which… Read more

The room was the same, good, but not exceptional. Theming in the room was limited to a Mickey lamp that had to be unplugged to turn off. The pool area is great, as is the lagoon beach. The food and beverages were mostly good as well. I guess to get to the point, since it’s Disney, it all comes with a hefty price. I understand you’re not coming to Aulani to save money, but they’ve sure got wringing the money out of you down to a science. Sorry, $21 for a bad tuna fish sandwich at the pool is unconscionable. $18 for a bad mixed drink is ridiculous. I guess Disney just can’t make enough money fast enough. I would recommend Aulani, but be sure to bring plenty of money, you’ll need it. Read less

The room is comfortable and well appointed. The service is great. IMO there is no reason to stay here more than 2 nights. . Even one night in two days would be great for a lot of people. There’s just not that much to do around here and for the price see the rest of the island. The fountains and pools are fun but only about one or two days worth.… Read more

Image of the Tripadvisor rating My time at Disneys Hawaii resort was good but tainted with bad

This resort is very poor for disneys quality. The prices were insanely high for the quality, day 1 we got a peanut butter and jelly sandwich ( which is shown in the pictures below) that costed a whopping $25! And it wasn’t even spread! The customer service was very good (as is Disney) until we went to see Mickey, we waited for 30 minutes in a line just to be told that we should have spent extra money on a ticket! The slides were very good, so were the other pools. The food was good but way overpriced, for a bottle of apple juice it cost me $6. The rooms are nice very accommodating. All in all the experience at disneys Hawaii resort was good but tainted with bad experiences Read less

This is the ultimate Disney resort experience away from the mainland. The accommodations are top notch and the beach access is within a few feet of the resort. The restaurant offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner are affordable. The service is great…as you would come to expect with Disney Resorts. Everyone is so nice and you will definitely… Read more
