Here are the pros: excellent view for ocean facing rooms - Marina, said boats, surfers, sunsets - glorious. AC works well. 2 middle windows open. Blinds have remote control on wall by phone. I could only figure out fully open or fully closed, nothing in the middle. Tea kettle and coffee pot with some tea bags and coffee, cream, sugar are on a slide tray inside right hand cabinet under tv. Small refrigerator in same cabinet but on left side. I love the bathroom with it's extra long wider deeper tub to soak away the soreness and pain from travel. Separate shower, toilet with warm water bidet (remote control on wall by toilet), lots of towels, bath rugs and wash cloths. Big extension mirror next to large mirror in bathroom, floor length mirror in room. Large closet. Very nice free metal water bottles with tropical design on outside for each guest, free large tote bag for staying there.
Cons and how to improve clients stay: First, you need to do ALL your research about this hotel online before you go. There is no information in the room about the hotel - not the history, about the in-hotel establishments to eat, no menus to see, no website links t to click on or hours of operation, or an easy way to make reservations for any of the restaurants in the hotel. Want to call the front desk? The in room phone buttons stick or don't work right. FYI the ice machines are on about 3 of the 34 foors but there are no signs to help you find them. To get ice or water you will need your room key and for the southwest tower: go to the specific floor like #9, go left off elevators (I went right) go all the way to the end of the hall and look left for a door that says water and ice. Use room key to get in. There are no ice buckets (at least on our room) so bring a large mouth container to get ice. We used the 2 glasses in the bathroom. There is an Uber stand in the lobby if you need one. It's by the west door facing the marina. Very sad they don't really make you feel welcome by informing you about their basic amenities. We also still for a long time waiting to be checked in even though the reps stood looking at their computer screens while we waited. Want a spa treatment, sauna, swim, maybe haircut? Good luck if you have any disability and mobility challenges. There is no information for any other this. You are completely on your own. If you have no trouble walking, great. If you have trouble and are staying with another disabled loved one, it's very rough finding any helpful information. You will need to figure out which button on the phone actually works to call the front desk (room 1106). It was hot or miss with our phone. Would we stay there again? Nope. We paid a fortune for this experience as it was our anniversary, too. I'll try somewhere else. (Yes, we are a member of Seibu hotels. Didn't mean anything).
