“Best baby-moon at the amazing hotel!”

I had a pleasure of staying at this amazing place! Stayed there for a total of three nights as our baby-moon with my wife and a daughter. All of their staff was super kind, and willing to help us. This one time I lost my wallet during a trolly tour, didnt know where to contact so I asked at the concierge and they made some phone calls, then I was able to go to the bus company’s lost and found and found my wallet!! Condition of the room, needless to say anything. Super clean and nice. Big Mahalo to Sumin Lee from Ritz Carton, she was amazing!! From our arrival till we left, with her care and help we were able to have an unforgettable, one of our best travel experience at Ritz Carton Honolulu. Thank you!!

Location of this hotel is good if you like shopping but it is too far away from the sea . First day we walk half hour to Waikiki beach , carry the beach towels . Covered by sand walk through all the designer shopping street ( shortest way ) . Second day we walk to the beach near by which is still about 10 minutes walk . . Under the heat with all the beach towels .. most staffs are friendly but some are not !! We went to beach under heat ask for a bottle water .( i forgot my refilled bottle in the room ) Staffs refused! They said they only offer bottle water between 6-9 am .. they asked me go back to room get a refilled bottle for water .. i have to take two lifts , walk through the pools to my room … i understand that they want to safe plastic for the environment… but why do you offer bottles water in the morning .. ?? Most hotel have water stations around but not in this hotel.. only one in the pool but our room has take two lifts to be there .. When we return the beach towel back to the staffs . They refused take it and ask us put them back to the place which is very hardly to find .. need to cross parking cars.. It is not Ritz Carlton! After we paid usd £1k per night .. it is not right . By the way , there is no lobby in this hotel .. no where to seat ! Check in area is small !! Below photo is the entry / exit! Of the hotel ! Not feel safe walk back to hotel in the night as homeless are 5 feet away from that doors all the time ! No security ! Anyone can follow the guest and entry the hotel ! 地理位置离海边不近，走半个多小时才能到Waikiki 海滩，回来的路上孩子与老公的脚都被细砂磨破了！服务不好，特别是门童们，不值这个价位！整个大酒店没有坐的地方，没有大堂！

“Last Night in Waikiki”

Spent the last night in Honolulu at the Ritz partly for the available washer/dryer in each room and also wanting to experience a new hotel on our last night in Hawaii. Booked through AMEX FHR as I always do. This hotel only offers the bare minimum of $60 toward the breakfast perk I'm entitled to as an Amex Platinum member. Unfortunately, breakfast for 2 at Solera will run you about eighty bucks. This is beyond frustrating as the hotel sets the dollar amount and is knowingly not providing the adequate amount required for the AMEX FHR perk. Lunch at the pool was god-awful as I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken in the salad is "pulled chicken" as they call it and was 90% dark meat. Note to F&B Director or Chef, when you order a Caesar Salad with chicken, it's supposed to be White Meat chicken. Dinner on the other hand was outstanding at the Italian restaurant, Quiora. The pasta in the pasta bolognese was fresh and the portion was generous. Rooms are spacious and modern amd beds were very comfortable. Water pressure was average. Would have overlooked the Caesar salad with chicken gagger and still given the review 5-stars but can't overlook that the hotel is trying to save a few bucks by not offering the proper amount required for the Amex breakfast perk. That falls directly on Management. Mentioned this at check-out and got the obligatory smile & apology from the desk clerk.
