We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki! Its a great location, right on the beach and in walking distance to all of the city shopping & nightlife. The views were absolutely stunning — especially from the oceanfront rooms and the infinity pool overlooking Waikiki Beach. Watching the sunset from there is just magical. That said, the adult infinity pool was pretty crowded most of the time, and while it’s beautiful, it was tough to snag a spot right at the edge to enjoy those postcard-perfect views. There is a family friendly pool as well, but for obvious reasons, it was always full and loud with families. Early on in our booking the hotel, we requested a room on the corner so we could see both the beach and Diamond Head. Our request was granted and had the perfect views from our balcony, room 2564. Some floors have solid balconies for family friendly safety and some have wrought iron railings which offer much greater views. The resort had lots of fun, local goods shopping and tons of restaurants and bars to choose from w/o even leaving the hotel. This hotel was very family friendly, which isn't exactly what we were looking for unfortunately. Overall, it’s a great place to stay — amazing views, great location, and the perfect Waikiki vibe.
