The hotel

Set against the majestic Ko’olau Mountains and overlooking Waikiki Beach, this Sheraton hotel is a real slice of heaven. With sun, sea and sand on your doorstep, indulge in water sports, land sports, wining and dining or simply stake your place in the shade and relax. There are two incredible oceanfront pools: an infinity pool for the adults, a very serene place, or family-friendly Helumoa Pool where the kids can splash to their hearts content. If a spot of pampering appeals, head to Spa Khakara for a couples massage or an individual beauty treatment. Hungry? Kai Market serves farm-to-table fare that showcases the flavours of Hawaii perfectly. It also enjoys amazing views of Diamond Head and the Pacific – a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds! Alternatively, Rum Fire is the sensuous new spot for tapas and cocktails – boasting the country’s largest selection of vintage rum and playing live island melodies each evening. The Edge of Waikiki lives up to its name – set on the beach, it’s the perfect spot to admire the sunset over a tropical thirst quencher.

Our family made a special connection to your staff member AC. We loved seeing him at the pool slide everyday, and looked forward to seeing his warm smile and friendly face. He was amazing, and really made our stay here enjoyable!! We loved his company and he made many recommendations to us for things to do and places to eat, in our opinion he goes above and beyond to make the guests feel at home!! Also I must say everyone on the cleaning staff, as we passed them in the hallways were always so friendly and smiley. It was refreshing to see such happy employees! We would definitely stay here when visiting the island of Oahu again! Read less

We stayed on the 9th floor in room 904. Roger took excellent care of us. He was very kind, friendly & left two of the most amazing, heartfelt notes for my husband & I. You can tell he loves his job & takes pride in his work. The room was pristine & the view was fantastic. It was very relaxing & we would highly recommend staying here again. Roger… Read more

My wife and I booked 3 nights at this hotel to end our 10 day stay on Oahu. What a big mistake!! Entering the hotel feels like you’re entering the subway. Shops and lots of people coming and going. There really is no “lobby”. After checking in, walking to the elevators felt chaotic. Did not feel like you were in a hotel at all. The room that was assigned to us was awful. Our view was the roof of the parking garage. Bath tub had left over hair in it. We were not happy with the room so we went back to front desk and asked to be moved. We were told there is nothing they can do for us. We didn’t ask for ocean view at the price of city view by any means, we just wanted to have some kind of view not the walls. We traveled the world and we have never experienced worse customer service as we did from the front desk manager. We cancelled our stay at Sheraton and happily rebooked Moana Surfrider Westin resort, that let me tell you is the best hotel in Waikiki. We met other people in Westin telling us how that wish they would book this hotel instead of Sheraton. If you are reading this review don’t book this horrible hotel. Book Moana Westin Resort and you won’t be disappointed. Horrible horrible experience! Read less

We had a great experience with Trina and Sandy at the Sheraton Amenity Store. They greeted us with smiles and walked us through the process of claiming our amenity gifts in the store. Their infectious positive attitudes made it fun to browse and shop the store.

It’s the simple things. Have phoned four times to have our room cleaned and it’s 6pm and still not cleaned. I’ve lost hope.
