The hotel

Set against the majestic Ko’olau Mountains and overlooking Waikiki Beach, this Sheraton hotel is a real slice of heaven. With sun, sea and sand on your doorstep, indulge in water sports, land sports, wining and dining or simply stake your place in the shade and relax. There are two incredible oceanfront pools: an infinity pool for the adults, a very serene place, or family-friendly Helumoa Pool where the kids can splash to their hearts content. If a spot of pampering appeals, head to Spa Khakara for a couples massage or an individual beauty treatment. Hungry? Kai Market serves farm-to-table fare that showcases the flavours of Hawaii perfectly. It also enjoys amazing views of Diamond Head and the Pacific – a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds! Alternatively, Rum Fire is the sensuous new spot for tapas and cocktails – boasting the country’s largest selection of vintage rum and playing live island melodies each evening. The Edge of Waikiki lives up to its name – set on the beach, it’s the perfect spot to admire the sunset over a tropical thirst quencher.

We just strolled through the property and chilled out on the patio above the koi pond. OMG what a perfect property. If you can stay here....do it. It is spectacular. I can only imagine the sunset from the property. The pool area was gorgeous and the people enjoying it looked so calm and happy.

Amazing view, Clean room, nice location for shopping and entertainment. Especially house keeping staff named Jingsi, she did good care of us, asking about room condition in detail everyday! Pleasure to stay in Sheraton Waikiki and will definately come back here.

After a bustling busy 10 days on the mainland we were ready for some downtime and beach life in Hawaii. Our base for this time was the Sheraton Waikiki, which was recommended by a number of friends who had stayed previously. The location was fantastic, and the view from our room to die for, we could see turtles swimming from our balcony! We were an easy walk to many bars and restaurants, and much to the kids delight, Raising Caines. The only negative is a common one, nowhere near enough sunloungers around the pool, and no care from management to stop people “reserving” the loungers with towels early in the morning and then coming back later in the day. Stayed here 2 days for combined birthday and belated honeymoon celebration! It was an absolutely wonderful stay. My third time back at Oahu but the best hotel experience to date. I never really felt like I was staying in Waikiki until this hotel- the location of this hotel is the best. I could walk a few steps a be down at Waikiki beach, or go across the street for good restaurants and grab coffee/snacks easily. I participated in so many of the hotel activities from Aqua Zumba to Lei making and had such a good time. Tip: Would recommend paying the extra bucks and waking up to an ocean view, truly the best view out of any hotel I've stayed in my life. Also shout out to Roger, the housekeeper. I had always dreamed of having the cliche swan towels and flower decoration on the bed and not only did he do that for us, but also wrote a handwritten note for us each day. These are the little things that made this stay highly memorable for us, and inclined me to leave a review! Read less
