The hotel staff were very pleasant. The room, very clean, huge plus in my book, king size bed was spacious enough. Small balcony. Cold refrigerator, air conditioner was pleasant. Bathroom was clean, word of caution, the tub was slippery. Not much space to put toiletries, unless you hang them. Not counter space on sink. As for parking, you need to be cautious, it varies $$$$ where every you go, so be sure to ask! Read less

Great hotel on a verry central location - close by the beach and the town center. The rooms are great, and the beds are good. The hotel staff is verry friendly and service minded. We are going back for sure with the great post card / discount card we found upon our arrival in the room.

If you plan to be outside most of the time, this hotel may be great for you especially how cheap it is. If staying for couple of nights, however, can be a little noisy. From my experience, I can hear neighbors closing their door and it wakes me up many times. Most of the nights, I can hear that the furniture are moving around for whatever reason from above and next of my room. Additionally, around late at night I hear people from outside yelling. Minds you, I was on floor 11 and I can still hear them clearly. Another thing I was quite annoyed was I kept receiving cards of respecting my privacy and therefore, not cleaning my room. I understand the act of courtesy and responsibility, but I just think that one card should be already enough. I also want to mentioned that I noticed my door is crooked to the point where an outsider can put through a pick made out of a metal string to unlock my door from the inside if that make sense. I was pretty worried about my security. The receptionists and valet employees are average. It'd be better if they give a better welcoming and a smile. It would make travelers to feel better when they had a stressful events like me. Ways of improvement: - need a better door and security - I recommend to build an elevator with the hotel room card to access - noise cancellation If you're looking for a valet parking connect to this hotel, it's the very first right of the hotel. You may see cars coming out, but it is a one way street. Be careful! It's a tight street way when there are cars parking. BUT, only if you want to pay 45$ for 24 hours. Otherwise, find a different parking spots. Hopes this help! Thank you! Read less

After staying 3x over several years, gifting family a stay, and recommending it to all who travel to Oahu, we won’t return after our latest stay. The aloha spirit at the front desk has severely deteriorated. The hotel itself seems to be poorly managed now. I could write a long list, but will highlight just a few mishaps. We weren’t allowed a late checkout even after explaining that rowdy noisy guests two doors from our room kept us awake (we did call to report, but noise level did not diminish) and we were tired. I myself worked at an inn for many years and we would not deny returning guests a late check out under these circumstances. Many of the amenities are simply not available, and when I asked about one specifically was told it’s stocked once a month and when it’s out, it’s out. What an attitude! And one minor annoyance is I asked for a simple shower cap from the housekeeping cart, was told to ask at the front desk (who did not once answer their phone in several tries over our 2 night stay, was told in person she couldn’t locate one, but they would deliver to room. They did not. Asked twice more over 2 days, finally told out of stock. To top it off, the once comfortable mattresses I used to rave about are no longer comfortable and are showing age. Such a disappointment. At check out was not asked if we enjoyed our stay, and when I offered up that I had a few issues, was met with total indifference. Read less

In Hawaii for a last minute trip and came across the Shoreline. It's located just a quick walk away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. For the location and time of year, the price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. I booked a room with a queen sized bed which was very comfortable. I slept very well at night despite hearing the AC at night, I personally didn't mind it. The room is very standard comes with all the amenities you need plus a welcome gift with snacks and Hawaiian Sun drinks which was very thoughtful. No coffee in the room, but every morning they have complimentary coffee from 6am-11am. I also received a $5 credit for the restaurant located next door. The room had a small balcony which was nice to sit at during the evening hours. I wasn't able to take advantage, but they do have pool on the 14th floor. The staff was great from check in to check out. They also have 24/7 valet for $45 a day which included in & out privileges. Will definitely return on my next visit. Keep in mind they do take a $100 incidental deposit that is refunded back into your account at check out. Thank you Shoreline! Read less
