“Everything you ever imagine on Waikiki Beach Oahu”

This hotel is amazing and had everything we needed. When we arrived we were upgraded to an oceanfront suite for a small amount. Unfortunately, the suite was noisy as it was on the second floor and above the Monkeypod restaurant. Rick, Front Desk Staff, went above and beyond duty to get us a better similar room and it was perfect and quiet. The view was gorgeous and we could watch the sunset from our room if we wanted to. Morning coffee was the best on our deck. The restaurants are excellent, though I recommend a reservation for MonkeyPod, otherwise, you will be waiting a while. The Kani Ka Pal Grille is also very good, but busy as well, and they have very good live music nightly. There is an ABC store on site for snacks, beverages and trinkets. Bring a float, otherwise buy one at these stores (many in the Waikiki Beach area), for the beach. You can see turtles in the evening and morning around the pier by the hotel. Make sure to bring suncreen that doesn't harm the reefs (mineral). To get to the center of Waikiki Beach, you will have to walk a short distance through town as the beach does not connect (review a map). We also recommend the art Gallery and Manoa Love Design stores in the hotel. We purchased several beautiful prints and jewelry from them and are so pleased. Very good prices also. And if you rent a car for a day or two, we went with Akamai Rentals a half a block from the hotel and you can park there at night. Their prices were cheaper than the hotel and their cars were clean, good working condition and great tires. We went through Avis on Big Island and that was a disaster as all their cars had bald tires and....we got a flat in the country. So, check your tires! To avoid the additional insurance cost, bring a copy of your car insurance from home (US only). Another shoutout to Roberts Hawaii tour of Hanaumama Bay to go snorkeling for a half day (beautiful beach and shallow snorkeling site with lots of fish).

Everything about this hotel was fabulous. We were here as a gift so not sure about price. But location, facilities and atmosphere were great.. place is spotless.. the staff were lovely and lovelyn the lady who kept our rooms clean was fantastic. . She was so pleasant and friendly and did a great job and always with a smile. The only thing i would say is the tourist tax on top of an expensive hotel is a bit much
