Prince Waikiki

Honolulu, Oahu

Virgin rating

The hotel

Enjoy spectacular all-oceanfront accommodation and world-class service at the Hawaii Prince Hotel, one of Waikiki’s most desirable addresses! Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic views of the Ala Wai Yacht Harbour and Pacific Ocean are second to none – make sure you’re around at sunset, because they get pretty breathtaking around here! What’s really unique about this stunning hotel is the five-story base that this hotel sits on which is home to restaurants, an open-air lounge, lobby, shops, everything you need for the perfect holiday. If you’re a golf enthusiast, things get even better – the 27-hole course set on Oahu’s sunny Ewa Plain, is the only one of its kind in Hawaii. Enjoy a complimentary shuttle service to and from it courtesy of the hotel and a meal at the Bird of Paradise restaurant, open for lunch and cocktails. If you’d rather be pampered, a trip to the Yamano Day Spa is recommended, specialists in ‘aesthetics’, this relaxation technique will chase any lingering cares away! Dining is varied with plenty of options on offer, kick-starting in Reef Lounge perhaps – Waikiki’s newest contemporary lounge serving great martinis.

I recommend this place more than the Hilton Hotel right next door During the honeymoon period, I stayed three nights at Prince Waikiki and one night at Hilton Hawaiian Village #Why you shouldn't go to Hilton Hawaiian Village Hilton Hawaiian Village was uncomfortable. It didn't provide water, and the shower didn't work properly. The coffee machine was so dirty that I thought I might have to go to the hospital after using it. No shower gown, no slippers. Arriving 2 hours early and asking for an early check-in, I charged $75. And when I said I was staying for only one night, the staff looked like to ignore Big advantage would be having a beach right in front of hotel, but apart from that, I have no idea what's good #Why you have to go to Prince Waikiki The staff were all very friendly. I don't know if they provided us with a special service because it was a honeymoon, but they checked in early for free for three hours. They set us up with a nice view of the room. On our first day out, we had wine and a handwritten letter congratulating us on our honeymoon. Unlike Hilton, who considers her a simple way of making money, it struck me that it is truly for her The room was very spacious and clean. Even the bathroom was quite spacious. So I thought they might have upgraded the room for the honeymoon The coffee machine and coffee pot prepared in the room were also very clean, so I felt that it was being managed well I plan to travel to Hawaii every year, but if I use a hotel in Honolulu, I think I will stay in Prince Waikiki only Read less

Such great value in Waikiki. Staff is all wonderful and friendly. Rooms and hotel are super clean. Location is on the quieter side and the views from the rooms are spectacular! I recently visit the Prince Waikiki for business and leisure purposes. My room was on the 31st floor which included the Club Lounge. The room had an amazing view of the harbor with floor-to-ceiling windows, comfortable bed, beautiful restroom that included spacious bath, shower and toilet with bidet. The upper half of the windows can be opened which is similar to having a balcony but instead, one can rest in the comfort of their bed and read or watch television while the breeze pleasantly filters the room. The club room includes the club lounge which is wonderful. One can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet items with a selection of coffee, tea, wine and beer, along with canned drinks. The club lounge has a comfortable deck area to dine adjacent to the Infinity pool. In addition to the buffet, breakfast or lunch can be enjoyed in the restaurant which is amazing. Made to order omelets, full breakfast buffet plus. The food is delicious and healthy, an added plus while traveling. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is nothing more I could ask for that was not attended to during my stay. It is a wonderful hotel and would not hesitate to visit again in the future. So many positives, one cannot go wrong. A nice gem to visit for casual fun is the Harbor Pub located next to the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to ABC store for toiletries and souvenirs, Red Lobster, Italian restaurant, Subway, McDonalds and Hilton Hawaiian Village is nearby for beach fun. Read less
