Enjoy spectacular all-oceanfront accommodation and world-class service at the Hawaii Prince Hotel, one of Waikiki’s most desirable addresses! Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic views of the Ala Wai Yacht Harbour and Pacific Ocean are second to none – make sure you’re around at sunset, because they get pretty breathtaking around here! What’s really unique about this stunning hotel is the five-story base that this hotel sits on which is home to restaurants, an open-air lounge, lobby, shops, everything you need for the perfect holiday. If you’re a golf enthusiast, things get even better – the 27-hole course set on Oahu’s sunny Ewa Plain, is the only one of its kind in Hawaii. Enjoy a complimentary shuttle service to and from it courtesy of the hotel and a meal at the Bird of Paradise restaurant, open for lunch and cocktails. If you’d rather be pampered, a trip to the Yamano Day Spa is recommended, specialists in ‘aesthetics’, this relaxation technique will chase any lingering cares away! Dining is varied with plenty of options on offer, kick-starting in Reef Lounge perhaps – Waikiki’s newest contemporary lounge serving great martinis.

This is the second time we stayed at Prince Waikiki this year. Earlier this year my kids enjoyed it so my son requested to be there again for his 12th Birthday and 4th of July. This is the second time we stayed at Prince Waikiki this year. Earlier this year my kids enjoyed it so my son requested to be there again for his 12th Birthday and 4th of July. It was perfect because we also had family members flying in from out of town. We had connecting rooms and enjoyed the views, the pool and even got to attend Anuheas concert on 4th of July. Our rooms had amazing views of the fireworks. Housekeeping was great in addressing all our needs and cleaning our rooms daily. As a mom living with 3 boys, it was nice to have someone else clean after them for a change. My family did not want to leave, we were grateful for the later checkout given to us when requested.

Beautiful Views and Friendly Staff, Though Some Room for Improvement

The hotel is in a great location—situated at the end of Waikiki, it's close enough to the metro side for easy access, but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. It’s about a 5-minute drive to central Waikiki, and conveniently located directly across from the harbor and Ala Moana Mall. There’s also a coffee shop and store on-site, both of which were very convenient and had good selections.
We stayed in a corner one-bedroom suite, and the views were absolutely amazing. One important note: the room windows do open when unlocked, so it’s something to be cautious about if you're traveling with small children.
The valet staff were truly outstanding—very personable, attentive, and customer-friendly. Their service added a warm and welcoming touch to our experience.
However, comfort and room service could use improvement. The mattresses were quite firm, and there weren’t enough blankets provided. On our first night, we had to request additional bedding, and on the second night, the toilet broke, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the in-room dining for dinner was underwhelming in both quality and service.
Parking is available at $45 per day for self-parking or $50 for valet, which is something to keep in mind when budgeting.
While the location and friendly valet team stood out, the hotel has room to improve when it comes to guest comfort and service consistency. With a few enhancements, this could easily be a top-tier stay.

Nice facilities. Waited 5 min to be checked in while 3 employees stared at their screens. An elevator was down, so wait times averaged 5-10 min to go to and from your room. Couldn’t get a seat at the pool since hotel guest was taking up all the chairs. One family took 10 chairs. We had a room next to us throwing a party and the guest was…
