Bellagio

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

Epically romantic, you may recognise the luxurious Bellagio as George Clooney and crew’s scene-stealing co-star from Ocean’s Eleven. But then, thanks to its world-famous dancing fountains (some of which shoot 460ft into the Vegas sky), the Bellagio has a habit of making any night along The Strip an unforgettable event. Look beyond the eight-acre Lago di Como and you’ll find head-turning elegance in a hotel that’s inspired by a picturesque Italian village. Rooms and suites are sumptuous without being flashy, there’s a gallery of fine art with rotating exhibitions, five pools with a refreshing Mediterranean accent, O, Cirque du Soleil’s® water-based extravaganza.

Beautiful rooms, most comfortable beds and outstanding housekeepers. Also, there’s a great selection of restaurants, my personal favorite is Lago by Julian Serrano. And every morning I have breakfast at Sadelles.

Tired hotel in need of a refresh. Crowded with no organization to manage the number of people. Not worth the price. Had fountain view that was not worth it given how infrequently you are in the room when it is on.

I’m a MGM Rewards member and I must say that Bellagio offers all of the amenities that are desirable to stay here. From the restaurants to the gambling, everything is to notch. Staff is very responsive and friendly. The venue is awesome and it definitely is in my top choices to visit when I come to Vegas!

The Bellagio is beautiful and I really like the casino. I did not get a room in the spa tower (which I hear are renovated), and while I found my room to be perfectly nice and comfortable, I was disappointed by the shower head. It just spews water out of four big holes. That would be an easy and cheap upgrade until they get around to renovating those rooms. One of the sinks didn't work very well either, the faucet handles were very tight and hard to move. When I checked out, I noticed a pool charge on my room. I found out someone ordered a beer bucket and somehow was able to charge it to my room. Fortunately I was able to get that charge removed, but I did have to take the time to reach out and wait several days before it was resolved. I also got charged $23 for a box of chocolates in the mini bar that I picked up and put back. (Don't touch anything in the mini bar!) They charged my credit card for it and didn't even send me a bill or any kind of notification. I just happened to look at my credit card charges, saw the charge and reached out to them to find out. Again, I was able to get the charge refunded, but I had to discover the charge and reach out to Bellagio to get it fixed. Read less
