Bellagio

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

Epically romantic, you may recognise the luxurious Bellagio as George Clooney and crew’s scene-stealing co-star from Ocean’s Eleven. But then, thanks to its world-famous dancing fountains (some of which shoot 460ft into the Vegas sky), the Bellagio has a habit of making any night along The Strip an unforgettable event. Look beyond the eight-acre Lago di Como and you’ll find head-turning elegance in a hotel that’s inspired by a picturesque Italian village. Rooms and suites are sumptuous without being flashy, there’s a gallery of fine art with rotating exhibitions, five pools with a refreshing Mediterranean accent, O, Cirque du Soleil’s® water-based extravaganza.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. The only downside is the shower head pressure. Good casino, great connection to other resorts and amazing food.

The Bellagio was a wonderful hotel. My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and had a great time. I want to recognize Angie Cartel from Tutto. She made us feel special every time we came in. Which was a lot. Really elevated our experience. I hope we see her on our next visit.

I'm a Las Vegas local who works from home. Also, a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member. Bellagio is one of my favorite places on The Strip. I used a free night certificate and points for a 2-night "staycation". I paid a nightly resort fee and for parking. Went to the Cirque du Soleil "O"show, which is always spectacular. With automatic keyless check-in/out, I had no contact with hotel staff. With my Marriott Platinum status, I usually get an automatic upgrade. Didn't get fountain view this time, but got a high floor room overlooking the swimming pools. The room was clean and well-maintained, but was a basic King with no coffee-maker. The bed was super comfy. Overall, a pleasant stay, but the mini-bar prices and resort fees are ridiculously high. The same Fiji water that sold for $6.50 at the "Snacks" on the casino floor was priced at $24, by comparison. Incredible. They say that Vegas travel numbers are down, but the place was packed to the gills on this particular weekend. Read less
