Caesars Palace

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

This Las Vegas legend hasn’t outlasted many of its neighbours by accident. Look beyond its decadent glory-of-Rome exterior and you’ll find supremely well-appointed, contemporary rooms and suites without a whiff of white marble overkill. There are few Vegas resorts that can hold a Roman candle to Caesar’s casino and gaming options, while foodies could happily spend days ticking off the relaxed and upscale eateries on offer. Likewise, if retail therapy is on your mind, the resort’s Forum Shops is an opulent mall that’s been dubbed ‘The Shopping Wonder of the World’. And did we mention that Caesar’s Palace continues to host the grandest of grand Vegas performers such as Adele at its 4,000 plus seater Colosseum stadium?

Queues to check in very long and no apology for wait. This is the same on checkout if you have a query. Make sure you check your bill before leaving. Rooms Rooms large and spacious as are bathrooms. Cleaning of rooms is not very good. Very very dusty. Bathroom grouting not very clean. Rooms dated. We were in Augusta tower. Restaurants Restaurants very pricey and they expect big tips. Service hit and miss. We purchased bottle of water in gift shop and were asked if we wanted to tip! Pools We did not use the pools but seemed nice but no umbrellas for shade and in the scorching heat would be difficult Staying here was like being in a very busy train station with constant loud music and hundreds of people. Would not stay again but would try The Wynn, Bellagio or Venetian as they seemed more relaxing. Read less

The view from my room was amazing! A huge thank you to Kiana at reception for our location. The room was lovely, I strongly recommend stopping at Lush and grabbing a bath bomb to make use of the bathtub. Have stayed as several other properties when visiting Vegas, but always wanted to try CP. It was fine, but we’ll likely chose other properties next visit. Still amazes us that hotels charge a resort fee, but $62 is a lot. We wanted a bottle opener and were told to “buy one in the gift shop.”. Still amazes us that hotels charge a resort fee, but $62 is a lot. We wanted a bottle opener and were told to “buy one in the gift shop.”. We had a “privacy please” light on while napping in the afternoon. Housekeeping knocked about services. I asked if making up the bed was possible. He shrugged his shoulders and said, “no.”. Basically unimpressive service. One of the pools was closed. Location of hotel is great. Otherwise, nothing special. Read less

Great experience thanks to Ryan’s personal and professional excellence at the front desk. Traveling all over the world I am subject to both the best and the worst, Ryan made it one of the best. What started out as a bad day turned into a memorable experience and continued loyalty to the Caesar’s property!
