2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen combined apartment room on the 53rd floor with a clear view of the Sphere and the Eiffel Tower - hard to beat. Staying here with the family was wonderful as we we could walk out onto the Strip easily and relatively quickly through the Miracle Mile shopping center and be bam right in the action across from the Bellaggio and adjacent to the Paris. There is no show piece "front" entrance which is disappointing for such a nice facility, but what they do have they make work well with the valet and easily available cabs/ubers. Desk and maintenance staff were on point (our auto-shades broke late one night and they came up within minutes to fix them). I give 4* because of the exorbitant fees and the fact that the pool closes so early. I get it is a Vegas thing to close the pools early (to get people to the casino and spending $ elsewhere) but this is not a casino hotel and they push the family aspects of staying here (noting the many suites they offer) - so for what you are still paying in "resort" fees the least they could do is keep the pool open a little later so you can enjoy a swim with the kids after a show or dinner - instead of staring at a very cool looking, lit up, pool at night wondering why they can't use it. Meh... As a Hilton Diamond member I was expecting the HGV team at the Elara to treat us nicely during our 30th anniversary stay. Meh... As a Hilton Diamond member I was expecting the HGV team at the Elara to treat us nicely during our 30th anniversary stay. Check in was awful and after waiting half the day we got the same standard, non-owner room that we would have received 6 hours earlier. They kept trying to get us to do the tour and talk with the HGV sales team instead of focusing on our needs as guests. Overall the room was nice but view was awful. Nobody seemed to focused on customer care and a lot of sorrys, but overall I was not impressed. Would never stay at an HGV property again. Read less

The staff was wonderful and in our room we had a projector with a 100 inch screen TV. You can stay indoors the whole time from the mall to planet Hollywood.

Horrible! An absolute disappointment from the beginning to end. Avoid HGV at all costs, having purchased $2000 (11,000 points) package for Hawaii, I was CATFISHED. Horrible! An absolute disappointment from the beginning to end. Avoid HGV at all costs, having purchased $2000 (11,000 points) package for Hawaii, I was CATFISHED. I had to split my into 2 stays at different locations because the Hawaii location wasn't even real. The BLVD (in Vegas) sold me on Hawaii where there was a property with bungalows, showed me pictures and everything. No such place! All HGV has to say is sorry and tried harder to get me to buy a timeshare. Now back to Elara... arrival skunk and I mean literally skunk. The parking may be free, however it smells like a sewer. Then the Elara and Miracle Mile has so much air freshener to cover the stink it's nauseating. The front desk wasn't helpful upon arrival and their attitudes skunk. Throughout my stay I found out, I should have received a welcome package, with knowledge of amenities. I was only aware of DVD rentals, pool and Starbucks (all visual on lobby floor). After having problems with the washer/dryer did I find out there were washer/dryers available on another floor. I was never given discount cards to things to do/eat around Vegas, I found out on my last day. Had no clue I supposed to be give 2 bottles of water a day, never offered (it was 105° outside). The housekeeping is very sloppy, the tub was extremely dirty chunks of soap in it. For a VIP suite, gross. Rotten stay overall. All the employees care about is pushing timeshare sales, at least allow for the guests to enjoy some relaxation. Do I own a HGV timeshare: No. Would I ever own a HGV timeshare: No. Did I get Catfished for $2000 expecting a Hawaii Bungalow Property: Yes Read less

Get a cabana as it is hot in the sun and the television and food service is wonderful. Rooms are huge. The ten door projection tv is wonderful. DVDs are free to rent but cannot be viewed I. The living room on the large tv only the bedroom tv. Elevators are quick and efficient. Lots of things to see are close like the Bellagio fountains and the Eiffel Tower. Great place for kids but it is very quiet. The team is close as well. Lyft and uber are $15 to most places you want to go. The sphere is close as is the mgm grand (ka) While there is no concierge they respond really well to texting. Recommended Read less
