Excalibur

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

This good value on-strip casino hotel boasts an enormous pool area and is home to the must-see Tournament of Kings dinner show, complete with knights on horseback, jousting, pyrotechnics and Merlin himself. Las Vegas’s take on old England, the Excalibur would surprise the Knights of the Round Table. But that’s where it leaves England behind and takes on the world. There’s the all-American casino (with 100,000 sq ft of gaming), games arcade, and branch of Johnny Rockets’ famous hamburger chain. There’s Italy, Mexico and Asia (and a bit more America) in its casual restaurants and food court. And there’s Australia in its ‘Thunder from Down Under’ adult show and Australian Bee Gees tribute concert.

I found a dirty bandaid in my room and guest services did not apologize and seemed to imply that I probably put it there (-5 stars). The head housekeeper is an outstanding person and deserves a raise(+2 stars). This was my 2nd stay here and possibly my last. I call guest services to report a problem, not to be insulted. I've stayed at the Excalibur multiply times and never had any issues. While the rooms are nothing special, they are comfortable, spacious, and pretty quiet. The staff I've dealt with have been friendly. The restaurant choices are ok, but the hotel is on the strip, so you are walking distance to plenty of incredible restaurants and entertainment.

The pillows and bed were fluffy. Enjoyed the pools and just the atmosphere alone. Enjoyed seeing the view of Vegas from the 17th Floor. The skyline view was awesome, as well as the pool view. We ate at one of the restaurants there. It was ok. Enjoyed ourselves.

You fired all of the bell boys, and it sucked for us handicapped. When we arrived, there was no one to help with our luggage. The Royal Tower required complete renovation. The toilet plugged 2 times and overflowed once. The room smelled when we arrived. The bed needs to be higher for the handicapped. The shower was a disaster to all, slippery… Read more

The toilet plugged 2 times and overflowed once. The room smelled when we arrived. The bed needs to be higher for the handicapped. The shower was a disaster to all, slippery as heck, needs a mat, had to put down towels so as not to slip, and your liability! . The pool and jacuzzi closed at 7 pm My wife is a corporate travel agent, and I was a strategic consultant for Fortune 100 firms. Trust us, we have stayed in many properties, and this was one of the worst. Read less
