This historic hotel was built by Vegas legend, Bugsy Siegel back in 1946 and it's seen countless celebrities walk through its doors in the last 60 years, as well as being the backdrop for the original Ocean's Eleven film and Viva Las Vegas. It has an amazing location right in the middle of The Strip and near the fantastic Caesars Forum Shops, with award-winning Flamingo Go Rooms. The hotel is great for kids with its amazing Beach Club Pool. The GO Pool offers a 21+ lively pool party experience with its amazing 15-acre tropical pool paradise, which has whirlpools and four different swimming pools nestled among the lush, green foliage. Then there's the Wildlife Habitat, where the resort's eponymous flamingos hang out with turtles, swans and ducks. There's a choice of seven restaurants including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and Margaritaville Casino, featuring the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. Margaritaville is as much a state of mind as it is a place. The multi-level Caribbean-themed entertainment venue offers two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a nautical-themed restaurant, four distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000-sq ft retail store. You can also eat outside by the pool or even enjoy a spot of gambling in the pool casino located at the GO Pool! At the Margaritaville Casino at the Flamingo, guests feel the energy of the Las Vegas strip while enjoying the laid-back vibe of the islands.

“HORRIBLE CONDITION! Shame on you Flamingo Management.”

We paid $439 plus $57 fees and taxes for tonight’s stay in this decrepit hotel. Upon check in, we were informed that we did not pay for a renovated room and under no circumstances would they accommodate us unless we paid another $27 per night. Obscene! Well, the floors were clean, the linens were clean and there were no bugs that I could tell. This place is a 1 star hotel at best. Don’t stay here.

“Wifi does not work depending on room”

I was in town for Sin City tournament and Flamingo was the main hotel to host all the players. Mine was the only room that had terrible wifi reception AND cellphone service. Once we got into the room the signal would vanish. I called reception several times for solutions, they first told me that they received no other complains from rooms so there was nothing to do. Then they connected me to "wifi support" which was a woman sounding like she was reading "how to connect to the internet" instructions for the first time, still did not solve wifi issues. Nothing ever worked and so we spent the entire trip with no signal in our room. Worth mentioning that in other rooms my friends had our wifi worked, it was just in our room. I would NOT stay in the Habitat Rooms w/High Roller View.

Where to start - hopefully I have enough room to share all of my thoughts. Main take away for what specific you can do to improve mine or someone else’s stay in the future - Please fix / renovate / or never use this room again. We enjoy playing in our tournament every year and staying at Caesars properties (hopefully with discounts because of rewards and gambling), but this was by far the worst room that exists in all of Caesars properties. We paid $60 to check in early but I wasn’t expecting a room from the 60’s. Shower - I implore you to remind people to bring a wrench in order to turn the shower on and off - seriously my wife’s hand is bruised from how hard you have to turn the faucet in this shower to turn it on and off. But not to worry, it will leak no matter what. Just enough so you can hear it throughout your evening. The light fixtures and mirror in the bathroom are falling off the wall. (As well as the wallpaper) We received ONE amenity. One bar of hand soap. That is it. Not a tiny shampoo or lotion or a dispenser attached to a wall. Seriously - 1 bar of hand soap. No backup toilet paper. Nothing. I had to message the desk to get a roll of toilet paper. Because we were so low - and they even cleaned our room because someone folded the roll (into the little cute fold) with about 12 sheets left and did not leave a replacement. The floor is warped and sticky. We wore socks all weekend, but all that did was get anything from the floor into the beds. Then you get to listen to the dirty bed creak all night if you happen to shift your body or breath. The tv is a 35” computer monitor. I don’t think I need to say much more. The fan option on the AC does not stay on longer than 10 minutes. I also hope you’re from 1960 and don’t need to charge anything. There are no outlets between the bed or anything on a lamp that you could plug into or try and unplug a lamp to plug in your phone. If you want to charge your phone - I suggest placing it on top of the floor fridge that smells. Best of luck. Please do not give anyone this room again. We will never stay at flamingo again.
