The hotel

This historic hotel was built by Vegas legend, Bugsy Siegel back in 1946 and it's seen countless celebrities walk through its doors in the last 60 years, as well as being the backdrop for the original Ocean's Eleven film and Viva Las Vegas. It has an amazing location right in the middle of The Strip and near the fantastic Caesars Forum Shops, with award-winning Flamingo Go Rooms. The hotel is great for kids with its amazing Beach Club Pool. The GO Pool offers a 21+ lively pool party experience with its amazing 15-acre tropical pool paradise, which has whirlpools and four different swimming pools nestled among the lush, green foliage. Then there's the Wildlife Habitat, where the resort's eponymous flamingos hang out with turtles, swans and ducks. There's a choice of seven restaurants including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville and Margaritaville Casino, featuring the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. Margaritaville is as much a state of mind as it is a place. The multi-level Caribbean-themed entertainment venue offers two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a nautical-themed restaurant, four distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000-sq ft retail store. You can also eat outside by the pool or even enjoy a spot of gambling in the pool casino located at the GO Pool! At the Margaritaville Casino at the Flamingo, guests feel the energy of the Las Vegas strip while enjoying the laid-back vibe of the islands.

I booked a room online for one night at $80 plus taxes and fees. When I checked in they charged me $165. They said the reservation was just on hold and not paid. When I made the reservation I gave them my credit card thinking it was paid for!!! What a rip off. I would not stay at this hotel again!! If I could give it a minus rating I would.

Very clean room. Excellent check in. Had fun playing. Flamingos using a lot less paint now. I used to use that as a reason not to stay there. I’ve had a very nice room and enjoyed. Everything

Love the feels of a an old school casino property. On the downside, slot machines were all the same and drink service around the slots was limited.

1. Delayed Maintenance Response On the evening of my stay, I contacted hotel maintenance at approximately 10:30 p.m. regarding an urgent water leak from a bathroom ceiling pipe. Despite waiting until 12:30 a.m., no staff member arrived to inspect or resolve the matter. Unfortunately, the issue remained unattended, and I eventually fell asleep after midnight without assistance. 2. Excessive Noise Disturbance Throughout the night, loud music could be heard in the guest room, continuing even past midnight. This significantly impacted the ability to rest. Enhanced soundproofing of the windows or additional noise control measures would be highly beneficial in creating a more relaxing and comfortable guest experience. 3. In-Room Facilities and Comfort The air conditioning unit in the room operated with a considerable level of noise, which disrupted rest and relaxation. Additionally, the bathroom fan automatically activated with the light switch and produced a disruptive sound each time, further diminishing the overall comfort of the stay. 4. Room Rate Discrepancy I reserved my stay more than a month in advance; however, I later observed that the hotel was offering significantly lower last-minute nightly rates during my stay. My final bill was not adjusted to reflect the lowest available rate, nor was any consideration offered. This was disappointing, as it left the impression of a lack of rate fairness and guest value.
