The rooms are beautiful, clean, and have a high-end vibe without feeling over the top and a large bath tub you can sink into. We enjoyed the mini bar and variety of the room snacks. Definitely one of the nicer spots I’ve stayed on the Strip. The restaurants didn’t disappoint either. Komodo and Papi Steak were both worth it, and even the food hall had solid options for a quick bite. The pool scene and LIV nightclub? Packed and full of energy — definitely Miami-style fun if that’s your thing. Read less

I never stay this far north on the Strip; I'm often in the middle of the action, but staying in a newer resort was appealing and TripAdvisor offered me a Royal Suite at a deal I couldn't pass up. I never stay this far north on the Strip; I'm often in the middle of the action, but staying in a newer resort was appealing and TripAdvisor offered me a Royal Suite at a deal I couldn't pass up. I'm seeing lots of "Vegas is dead..." comments on social media. No it isn't. We were there for a Monday and Tuesday night; center Strip is a zoo. Fontainebleau was quiet, though far from empty. The pool was busy during all hours of the day. The casino had plenty of players at all hours. However, I love the atmosphere here. I'm not in my 20s anymore and appreciate a resort that feels posh and relaxed. Staff is at every entrance to keep trouble-makers at bay. Elevator banks had additional staff to ensure you were supposed to be there. No parking fees made staying here an even easier decision and the garage made it very easy to navigate the property. Very easy to get in and out of the resort, and being so far north on the Strip ensured traffic was never an issue. Get the room upgrade if you're able. Our Royal Suite came with two full baths, my wife was very fond of the makeup counter in the master. Two walk-in showers and a large soaking tub makes the room feel even more luxurious. The water pressure was glorious. Touch controls in bathrooms and next to the bed was also a very nice touch. Our only dining experience here was breakfast at La Fontaine, which was very good. We were seated immediately, though service was slow. I will be coming back. I do hope my next stay is as pleasant as the first. Read less

We were pretty excited walking in the door of the Fontainebleau hotel and just as disappointed walking out the door 2 days later. As other reviewers have noted, there are a lack of basic “amenities” offered. Should not have to walk 3 blocks to Walgreens because the hotel provides not even one freaking bottle of water in the room…..(unless you want to buy the big overpriced Fiji water via the room) Waited for turndown service that never came…..because there is none. Tried to go to the gym after dinner….closed at 7pm…..{Wow!} Went to Vida for breakfast for 2 mornings, first day excellent, second day eggs and turkey bacon came out ice cold. Although she replaced it, Waitress completely disinterested and made excuse for kitchen saying “they’re very busy today.” Should also mention booked through my American Express Platinum FHR. Hotel provides only $60 for breakfast which is totally not enough. FYI, hotel sets the dollar amount allocated so they are knowingly being stingy! Mentioned all of the above on the way out, (after waiting 15+ minutes to check out because they only had 3 agents working at the desk!) and the girl said she was sorry….. that’s it. Other than being new and shiny, there is nothing that makes this hotel fancy or upscale. Go elsewhere…..we will next trip. Read less

This has to be the most boring resort on the planet. The casino was like a ghost town. One minute they offer rates with no resort fees the next minute they want to charge resort fees. Why email people offer rates with no resort fees then you try to book they want the resort fees. I decided to try the hotel for one night. It was a big mistake as even though the rooms were nice I couldn’t get over how they offer rates with no resort fees then they charge resort fees. The location is also miles away from most of the action on the Vegas Strip. If this resort wants to stay in business it needs to work out how to attract people to stay because at the moment the place is empty. Read less

It’s a great property. The rooms are obviously new and clean and they have great touches like automatic drapes and a bar set and refrigerated drawer. The hotel goes above and beyond to make guests comfortable. The pool is wonderful- even the handrails are stylish. And there’s ample shade from the desert sun provided by umbrellas at nearly every lounger. Unlike many Vegas resorts, there is no fee for them. There’s a great selection of restaurants- they’re a little pricey but not outside the normal range of other strip hotels. The location is perfect for conventions, but it is a long distance from center strip. Walking is not really an option, if not for the distance for the time one would have to account for. Read less
