There are very few hotels/resorts that I will stay at and not leave the property. This is one of them. Excellent overall experience with exceptional restaurants (Ito, Mother Wolf, Kyu, and Washing Potato) and a world class spa. .

I’ve been to this resort twice and can truly say it’s my favorite on the Strip. The design is timeless and elegant….something you don’t find much in Vegas and with an equally nice crowd. The rooms were a highlight. The resort is relatively new and everything feels fresh and clean. The beds were sublimely comfortable. The location is a bit north of all of the action on the strip, which was a good thing. There’s plenty of space to stretch out and breathe here. Probably the biggest negative was the lack of in -room coffee machines. For the caliber of hotel, this was a big miss for the hotel and mission impossible to get a quick cup of coffee in the morning. The resort should immediately add in room coffee machines as lines for the coffee shop were quite long. Also, adding an on-site Starbucks/second coffeeshop would be a no-brainer. The spa and gym are were also very good and another highlight. Although the gym was well-equipped, it lacked a lot of basic machines (bicep curl) and closed everyday at 7PM…really unacceptable. If the above issues are addressed, I would definitely stay here again. Otherwise I might return to the Durango out in the suburbs. Read less

There are many outstanding places to eat and a good food court as well. Finally, this is a price performer compared to other hotels of similar quality on the Strip. Read less

I don't have often write reviews here, but I experienced an extreme security problem here that has left me shaken and incredulous. I was walking up to the guest elevators area, where there is a podium where security checks key cards for guests. A man walked up to me as I was approaching it, put his arm around me, and asked me to "have some fun." I said no and kept walking. He squeezed his arm around me tighter and said, "Come up to my room. I'll take you up." I pushed away and approached the security podium. He told security that I was his wife, was drunk, and he was taking me up to our room. I told security I didn't know him. Security then asked him if he was a guest. He said yes, showed his room key card, and gave them his room number. They then asked if I was a guest. I said yes, and showed my key card. They then asked for my room number, which I provided. They then asked me for picture ID.. They did not ask the man for his ID. I showed them my driver's license. They then said that I couldn't go up to my room. I was very confused, and security allowed him to keep squeezing his arm around me and trying to pull me up to his room. The restrooms were around a bend from this area, and I pulled away, telling security I'm going to the bathroom. I went to the women's restroom and called my work colleague, who was also in the casino. He came to meet me by the bathroom door and walked me back to security. When we got there, the creepy man was standing there waiting for me and saying I'm taking her to our room. My friend intervened and talked to security. Security allowed this man to get all the way to the elevator bank trying to get me to his room. At some point security decided to escore me up, and at that point the guy hopped in the elevators. Security escorted me to my room, where I bolted the door. Shortly therafter, there was banging on my door. I looked out the peep hole, and it was the guy. He would not have known my room number if security had not asked me for it in front of him. I called security and reported it. I then called another colleague who was also staying in our hotel. She stayed on the phone with me while he was banging on the door. As the knocking escalated, and no one showed up, she also called security from her room. Security gave her a hard time, saying that the call needed to come from the room that needed help. More time passed, and as I looked out the peep hole, the man had sat down outside my room. I called security again, and they said that they had sent someone up there to talk to him, but the guy said that he made an innocent mistake of knocking on the wrong room, so there wasn't a problem. Unfortunately the knocking continued and he was still out there. Much time passed with about 6-7 calls to security. Eventually security did come up, and while the security person was standing at my door, he received a message in his ear piece that the man was in the stairwell. They went to apprehend him. More time passed, and I couldn't get answers. Eventually security came back and said that they would move me to a different room. They said that they didn't apprehend him in the stairwell. Security told me to call the front desk to get the room assignment and then they would give me a security escort to a different part of the hotel. I then made many, many calls to the front desk. One person said, "What's wrong with the room" and another said I had to come to the desk to get the information (and I had to explain that security had told me to stay locked in my room. Eventually, and hours had passed by now, the front desk manager called to say that she was sending security up with a card key and new room to move me. Security then showed up and asked, "Where are we going?" He had no key card and didn't know where we were going. He called downstairs while we waited for a long time in the hallway to figure out what to do. Eventually I was moved to a different part of the hotel, many hours later. This should not be allowed to happen in a casino. When a woman says "I don't know this man," there is no world in which you question that. You do not ask a woman in front of a man who is squeezing his arm around you and pushing to provide her room number in front of him. And you don't take hours to solve a problem while a man creepily sits outside a woman's hotel room. It was a harrowing experience and no one seemed to care. The hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed some wonderful dinners here and afternoons by the pool, but no matter how nice a hotel may be, it's useless if not safe for women. Read less
