You're sure to find everything you need here for a classic Vegas trip - from shops to restaurants, and plenty of bars and shows. There’s the casino too of course, with its traditional reels, video poker, slots machines and roulette tables but, if Lady Luck and you have been flirting too much, head on over to the oversized poolside — it’s rocking. And yes, we do mean literally, with DJ music, private cabanas and plenty of shaded areas thanks to the palm trees! Being in the centre of the strip is great for enjoying all that Vegas has to offer, and it's also great when it comes to hotel room views too - choose between High Roller views, looking out on the South of the Strip, or our personal favourite, the fountain view. Whichever room you pick here, you're sure to have a blast.

Brilliant location, room was really clean and great space. Its a pity the pool is closed during the week (the hotel need to make that clear on booking sites) but having access to the paris pool made up for this. Everything’s expensive but what isn’t in vegas lol
Great Location and Potential but Could be Better Maintained

I think the AI-list-generated list for the summary review of the HorseShoe is pretty much spot on.

The location of the Horseshoe for access to the strip is great.
The cost was also good. We managed to get a very cheap rate, less than half of the cost of a room at Caesar's Palace. But the gotcha are the nickel and dime things. There is a $56/day resort fee that covers local phone calls + internet for two devices (even when we paid for 3-person occupancy). Want to add another device? -- that's another $56/day. We stuck with using just two devices.
We forgot to bring a toothbrush -- that's $5 at their Essentials store.
Cleanliness and Service are the biggest problems -- if you are a neat freak, you may want to avoid it. The carpet wasn't vacuumed very well. There were streaks on the mirror and spots on the table. Windows could be better cleaned, but we just had a view overlooking the HVAC, so there wasn't much to see. One of the lamps was broken.
The actual room itself had great potential if just maintained a little better. The furniture was very nice and in good shape.
The thermostat in the room seemed to be broke. It was stuck at 68 degrees which felt cold. We adjusted it up, but it did nothing. So we would turn it off and then back on when it got too warm.
There was also a continuous low hum from the adjacent HVAC system that we overlooked from the 5th floor. It was basically just continuous background white noise -- it didn't prevent us from sleeping. Between the HVAC and the AC we didn't hear any street noise.

Mrs Lan started our trip off great in celebrating our birthday month at the horseshoe. An annual visit for us. LAN is so pleasant, helpful, curtious and professional. She is a model Associate for the Horseshoe casino.
