The hotel

What a unique place! The lifts ascend diagonally up the pyramid wall and the beam of light that shines from the top can be seen from 10 miles up in space. Vegas gets hotter than Egypt in the summer, so you’ll appreciate the 5-acre pool area with 4 pools, as well as a new adult VIP pool* section. Check out the hotel's dining options too — there's Diablos Cantina, Tender Steakhouse, Backstage Deli, Pyramid Café, Public House, and The Buffet at Luxor. In the sumptuous Nurture Spa, you can enjoy treatments like botanical body buffs, Swedish massages and refresher facials. Blue Man Group is comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. You'll be closer to the action than ever before at the specially designed Blue Man Theatre at Luxor Hotel and Casino. It's an outrageous multi-sensory experience you'll never forget.

I usually stay at Bellagio. I tried Luxor for my first time ever. I loved it and felt at home. Great ambience. Housekeeping staff did a great job. The security presence made us feel safe and wasn’t bothered when we asked for directions or help. I felt safe going to and from my room using the elevators. I suggest having more "active" elevators going to the first floor so that people are not crowding into a single one. Also, the overnight parking price for hotel members could be cheaper considering the daily expense adds up. Overall, I had a very enjoyable, affordable stay, and I look forward to staying here in the future. Read less

Awesome suite! The room was huge with an extremely comfortable bed. Loved having two bathrooms. We were on the 29th floor so the view was amazing. We could see all over Vegas. Housekeeping kept our room clean and the coffee bar stocked. Check in was an easy process.

1. We just wanted to shower and go to bed. They just reimbursed a $50 services fee as a reparation after I asked for one. 2. No option to prepay for valet, prepaid for self parking to be told that it’s not super safe by staff, switched to valet and had to be refunded self park, was told by valet that he could keep our car safe for a $20 gratuity, felt slimey and sketchy! We felt we didn’t have another option. 3. Elevator, hallways and room was dated and decrepit. Room was missing the basics (mini fridge, mini bar, coffee machine/kettle) which I expect when staying at a hotel, never been to one without them! 4. Unfriendly/cold luggage staff and phone staff (guest services + cleaning staff). 5. Without a kettle, we tried to get hot water from main floor and was charged just under $3 for hot water!! We had such a bad hotel experience and for $300 + all of the tips we gave out, we are beyond disappointed Read less

Restaurants and room service close early, so if you're back to the hotel after midnight you're out of luck. Internet was almost completely inaccessible, and on high floors you'll have no cell service. And worst of all, housekeeping came into my room while i was out, before I checked out, and took all of my personal belongings out of the room. I came back, all gone. And it took almost 2 hours to track it down - tried calling the desk and housekeeping from my room phone...no answers. Went to the front desk and they had a very hard time figuring out how to help, how to connect with housekeeping (let alone the housekeeping staff member who removed all of my personal items from the room). And when I did track it all down, my AirPods were still missing which I only found because I scoured all of the housekeeping carts on my floor...and found them in one of the trash bags! Mindblowing!!! This is unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Not just in Vegas...anywhere! And after all this, especially given that I had to find staff to help me locate my personal belongings...not one attempt to offer any kind of "make good" for the issues I had. Unreal. Read less
