I am going to reprint the letter I sent because I have not received a response from Guest Experiences or the Front Desk and would like to avoid filing a legal claim to receive the apology I am due: Hello, I have been a loyal guest at MGM properties during my stays in Las Vegas and recently had another mostly enjoyable stay checking in on May 17 and checking out today [May 19] at the MGM Grand (Marriott Bonvoy confirmation xxxxxxx, MGM Rewards number xxxxxxx) for slightly over $600 per night. However, despite purchasing late 3pm check-out, confirming it with the front desk and stating that I had done so both times housekeeping knocked on my door earlier in the day, I was greeted exactly at 3pm with 2 security guards and another housekeeper, who stated that I was "late" and one of whom entered my room (7-312) against my request for privacy to confirm that I had packed and was exiting (which I had and was). It should be noted that on this short trip, I spent more than $3,900 at the Palm Tree Beach Club, purchased tickets to KA and ate dinners at Hakkasan and Morimoto, all on MGM Grand property. Needless to say, I was disappointed with this level of aggression by security and housekeeping. I was a quiet, clean and responsible guest and received no complaints from the hotel or anyone else, so I was and remain confounded at this response. I am not seeking compensation or threatening to file a complaint, even though the law firm of which I am a partner works in the hospitality and gaming industries. I just wanted to convey this experience in the hope that the MGM Grand will take steps to improve its internal communications and avoid leaving its guests with negative experiences. Only problem is they were doing construction or something above our room because we were woken up to jackhammers. We also were woken up when maintenance started cutting a hole in the wall outside of our bathroom. Then they asked to come inside to turn the water off to do the repair. They also left drywall debris under the sink. So much for paying extra for the stay well room. Would have got more rest sleeping in my car. Read less

The newly renovated rooms are so nice. Every staff member we came across was very friendly. I would absolutely recommend staying here. I would also recommend Crush and Lucchini for dinner. The food and service was amazing. Also had the opportunity to see KA and I my gosh if you have the opportunity to go you absolutely should.

I had a number of issues with the MGM Grand on my recent visit. 1) I informed the hotel roughly a week before arrival that we would be getting married (05/15/25). At no time did we get any verbal congratulations, nor was there any type of card, flowers, etc. in our room. I do understand that the hotel is not obliged to do so, however, those are the small items that keep people coming back and have them say good things about the hotel. I did talk with the concierge about this issue, and he simply provided me with a congratulations followed by an explanation that they do not have a budget for such things and that people come all the time for special events such as that. I would think that MGM would have a small budget considering how expensive everything is within the hotel. 2) I placed an order for breakfast at the Delight Signature on our wedding day. The intent was to pick up the breakfast and bring it back to the room. It took me over 45 minutes walking around in search of the location. I finally asked someone only to discover that it was in another section of the hotel. I ended up getting our breakfast at a Starbucks and returned to the room 1 hour later. I tried calling the Delight Signature 3 times with no luck. I called the concierge only to be directed to a different concierge on the other side of the hotel. That concierge was not able to get intouch with the Delight Signature, nor were they able to reach the manager of the Delight Signature. Their final suggestion was to try back later. On my last day, I walked across the entire complex to the Delight Signature. I explained the issue to the person behind the counter, and she contacted the manager. The manager indicated that I would get a refund for my order that I did not get. 3) I also understand that some rooms are smaller than others, however, the room we stayed in was smaller than a standard hotel room I would normally stay in and had very little space to lay toiletries, no writing space, etc. While the rooms were clean, they were dated and need a refresh. Given the items listed above, it makes it hard for me to give a good recommendation for the hotel. Read less

Please note there are no coffee machines in the room, extra fees to use fridge, an extra 'convenience' fee was included in bill,no amenities included and not nearly enough front desk check in staff. The front desk check in staff person was very nice and accommodating.
