Star rating

The hotel

You'll feel like you're in the heart of this Romantic French capital as you dine at the top of the Eiffel Tower or wander around the Parisian boulevards, admiring the designer French boutiques. This hotel has a great central Strip location and of course, one of the best views of the unique Vegas skyline from the top of the tower, which is an amazing half-scale exact replica of the original. You can choose to stay in one of the newly remodeled Bordeaux Rooms, combining classic European elegance with a modern flair. Other Paris sights in replica include the Arc de Triomphe, Louvre façade, Paris Opera House façade and stage, Hotel de Ville and Alexander III Bridge. There are a number of French and international themed restaurants. You can dine out on the alfresco terrace eating authentic French cuisine at Mon Ami Gabi, watching the Bellagio fountains opposite and enjoying people watching on one of the world's most famous streets.

Clean room. Quiet. Comfortable. Great view of the strip. Loved eating at all the delicious restaurants in the hotel. Spent some time shopping in the gift shops there, too! Good security on the property. The swimming pool was so awesome! Went there each morning and back in the late afternoon.

Always enjoyed the atmosphere in the public areas so decided to try out the rooms. First thing we discovered is that this hotel is woefully understaffed. Like make your own bed understaffed...but I'll get back to that. We arrived around one in the afternoon to the infamous check in lines. We would be in these wonderful lines 4 times that day and finally received keys to our 2 bedroom suite @6:30pm. At the most, there were 6 staff members checking people in although there are 20+ check in stations. The kiosks were pretty much useless for our reservation. All the staff members were very friendly but could do nothing about our non-ready room. Finally, when we did receive our keys, they came with a condition - there were no sheets on one of the beds and that they would get the sheets up as soon as possible. We were told the linen truck broke down. Okay then. Note to all - there is no way to ask a question about keys, late check out, the linen truck, or anything at all without waiting in these lines. We probably spent 2.5 hours just in the lines the first day trying to get into our room while they charged us two $55 resort fees - one for each bedroom. I guess waiting in line is a big thing to do at resorts now. They also were going to charge us two separate early check in fees for our 2 bedroom suite that we didn't get keys to until 6:30pm. We waited in line the next day to get that removed from the bill. The suite was spacious but dated. It had a great view of the Eifel Tower and Bellagio Fountains but the windows were caked in dirt. Now, some people are going to say that's what it is like in the desert but that is not what it's like at the Bellagio just across the street where we have stayed many times, Caesar's Palace, or the Cosmo. These windows had layers of dirt on them. There were numerous nicks and dents in the furniture, lamps broken - literally the bottoms broken and bulbs not working, and of course, the missing sheets. We finally got those 3 hours later after numerous phone calls and were told that if we wanted housekeeping to make the bed, it will be a while because they are very busy. It's 9:30pm now so we made our own bed - in a two bedroom suite at I guess what was once a 4 star hotel. They did end up removing the resort fee for the one room that did not have sheets for one day but declined to remove the fee for the other bedroom that we did not get keys to until 6:30. Pool closes at 5 by the way. Waited in line for that as well. Overall the cleanliness was pretty good and the bathrooms were nice, but that only goes so far when the sheets on the made bed literally had holes in them and the pillows - where did they get these things? The most uncomfortable hotel pillows ever. Don't swing one around - it will cause damage. Housekeeping was basically non-existent during our 3 night stay. Never even saw a cart in our hallway. I know it is a large hotel but night and day from other large Vegas properties. Tremendously short staffed as in make your own bed. In addition, the property was having internet issues for a couple of days - so poor Wifi and no TV. Not a good combo waiting for sheets to go to sleep. I give the property two stars because all the employees we encountered were very friendly - but just powerless to remedy any situation. The elevators were pretty good but we were using the high floor bank so I think that makes a difference - just less people up there. The bell service was prompt but there is no explanation of anything - just drop the bags and go. The health club is tiny for a hotel this large, tiny. The pool area is a big letdown. We ended up getting a comp room across the street just to use the pools there. Biggest issue is there is no one to talk to without waiting in those lines - phone calls get nothing done and there is no human concierge like at the other hotels I mentioned - just a virtual one. I am not even bothering to talk to management because it seems that there is no one to talk to who really cares. Review after review of the same issues. Unfortunately, this hotel is on autopilot, understaffed, and slowly being nicked, dented, and broken into 2 star status. They know people will keep coming. Not us though. As my wife said, "We tried - but Never again." Back across the street for us. Read less

So disappointed!! I came here several years ago and enjoyed it…. Fast forward to now, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The room is old, needs major renovations! Carpet is dirty, bathroom needs remodeling and so does the trim!! This hotel can do better for the price!

Was comped Caesars Rewards 3 nights and as we had never stayed at Paris we decided to try it. The hotel and public areas are set out to look like a French street very similar in style to NYNY we thought with cobbled streets, little shops, cafes etc. We had been offered a Burgundy Pool view room and to be honest was given a room on the 4th floor so view really was rubbish. The carpets looked clean but felt crispy underfoot, room overall was clean and beds were comfy. Lovely modern bathroom with large shower but water pressure wasn't fantastic. As others have mentioned there is a tray to purchase snacks/items from but this is ridiculously expensive and no coffee making facilities in our room and why would they when they charge $7.99 plus tax for one in the cafe one of the most expensive we had come across on this visit to Las Vegas. Weather was hot so we had a couple of early hours sunbathing - not the best pool at this time as very shady area but views of the Eiffel tower above is pretty spectacular. Also not sure if pool is heated but water was really warm. Casino is a good size and lots of choice. Overall good solid 6/10 Read less
