SAHARA Las Vegas is a solid choice if you’re looking for a more relaxed Vegas experience without being right in the middle of the Strip’s chaos. One of its biggest perks is free parking, which is a rare and welcome bonus in Vegas. The property is located just far enough from the busiest part of the Strip to feel peaceful, yet still close enough to easily get to the action when you want it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making it a good place to rest after a day or night out. Inside, you’ll find a well-kept casino, several gift shops, coffee spots, and other amenities, so you don’t even have to leave the property if you don’t want to. Overall, if you value a quieter location, free parking, and a tidy, well-maintained hotel with the usual Vegas conveniences, SAHARA Las Vegas is worth considering. Read less

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern over the way I was treated during my recent stay at Sahara. What was meant to be a peaceful birthday getaway turned into a distressing experience that left me feeling humiliated and discriminated against. Due to a mix-up with my checkout date: an error on the part of my agency. I unknowingly overstayed past the scheduled checkout time. I had stepped out briefly for lunch with a friend, intending to return and possibly extend my stay. However, upon returning, I was met with hostility and suspicion. A staff member at the front desk not only locked me out of my room but also stated that she would need security to accompany me upstairs to retrieve my belongings as if I were a flight risk or attempting to steal. Her tone was rude, condescending, and completely inappropriate. The implication that I might run away to avoid late checkout fees was deeply offensive, especially when I had already expressed willingness to resolve the issue. I cannot help but question whether I was treated this way because I am Black. The way I was approached and accused felt like a clear case of racial profiling, and it left me shaken and angry on what should have been a celebratory day. This experience has ruined what was meant to be my first solo birthday trip, a moment I had been looking forward to. I urge Sahara’s management to investigate this incident seriously, provide appropriate training to staff on respectful and unbiased guest interactions, and ensure that no guest; regardless of background is ever made to feel like a criminal simply for existing in your space. I hope to receive a formal apology and clear information on the steps being taken to address this incident. Read less

Wonderfully unique room with really simple accommodations. Was barely in the room since I was at Evolution 2025, the biggest fighting game tournament in the world at the convention center. But the Blanca single bed room is perfect for a single traveler like I. Just wish the elevators worked.

We traveled as two couples and booked two separate rooms, both were clean, comfortable, and had great views (ours was on the 27th floor!). We spent time relaxing by the pool and exploring nearby casinos and restaurants. Although Sahara is located at the end of the Strip, it was easy and affordable to get around using Uber or Lyft.
