The hotel

Las Vegas excels at delivering the impossible in wonderful ways. Where else can you touch down in the Mojave desert and, within 15 minutes, find yourself being serenaded on a gondola ride to St Mark’s Square? A magnificent greatest hits of Venice’s architecture and canals located in the middle of The Strip, the all-suite Venetian is probably the most romantic hotel in Vegas, so let yourself be seduced. Wonder how you ever managed to stay in anything smaller than a suite before, enjoy a meal from one of the Michelin-starred restaurants, walk hand in hand down the Grand Canal shopping esplanade or party the night away in one of the many bars and nightclubs.

One word- RAY! in security! Here I am in Las Vegas. It's crazy busy and I just got out of the show seeing Kenny Chesney. I was back at the Venetian and was lost trying to find the tram entrance back to my hotel. I came across Ray, a security guard there and asked him for directions. Staying at the Venetian gave us the true Vegas experience. The grand entryway, leading into a maze of rooms, luckily the 14 year old was like a homing pigeon with her ability to find the room again. An unusual feature I hadn’t seen before was the pressure sensitive minibar, where you were charged for anything you removed even if you put it back, luckily we realised this before the kids started checking it out. The facilities were immense, with a huge range of bars, restaurants, fast food, and of course the casino floor. As an Australian it was very strange to me that the kids were able to walk through the casino, but it was necessary as it would be difficult to find your way between places without passing through the casino. An enjoyable enough stay, but when I next go to Vegas I’ll probably stay elsewhere just to experience different theming and restaurants. Read less

We stayed at this hotel and were very pleased. The room was spacious, clean and bright. We especially liked the stunning view from the window on the 30th floor - simply mesmerizing! The service was top notch, everything was organized conveniently and comfortably. A great place to relax, we will be happy to come back again.

Everything was wonderful for my wife and I we had a wonderful time and the Venetian staff were awesome... helpful respectful and made us feel great! The Best thing we did is that we did not have to leave the Venetian for four days and there was more to do.
