Similar to Mandy’s July 2025 review we have also been hit with a false smoking violation charge when neither my husband and I smoke. We invited them to send a manager to inspect the room and they blatantly refused to come up, stating that regardless they would charge as their system apparently is faultless. Two housekeeping team managers with one named Jorge and other hotel guests came into our room on our request to check and found zero issues. Jorge and his colleague texted their manager Cesar Soto who made no contact. My husband went down to the desk to talk to Selma, who was supposedly a manager who robotically repeated what they had claimed over the phone - basically their system can’t fail, so we must be lying. After Josh placed us on hold stating he was getting a housekeeping manager, a resort services supervisor whose name seemed to start with a C came on and point blank told us over the phone that even if the room came up clear after an inspection, the system is foolproof and we would’ve to pay the charge. This is what we must call extortion by The Venetian but even worse a hotel that’s trained its team with scripts and blank minds incapable of reasoning beyond surface level. To outrightly refuse to thoroughly investigate such a heavy charge indicates the need to acquire gains for the hotel by any means possible. We have no intention of blindly paying a wrongful charge to The Venetian. We will of course never stay at this hotel again and hope Hyatt Hotels through whom we booked this hotel acts on behalf of its members to ensure this does not happen again. We advise that all intending guests take this issue very seriously. Read less

We have stayed at The Venetian for decades, it's just that nice of a hotel (though I really want to try Wynn at some point). Rooms are large, but goodness help you if you end up in the South Tower (previously the Venezia Tower). It's a long way to the casino unless you use the shortcut. It's obvious that this part of the resort was originally supposed to be a separate property within a property. There is a great mix of restaurants though we always get stuck going to the Grand Lux Cafe which does have really good food. The walk to the Palazzo is enchanting and it tends to be quieter on that side. There is a large convention center that connects to the Sphere, so it is a great place to stay if you are seeing a show there. IMPORTANT TIP: Walks from the rooms to parking and the casino can be very long, especially from the South Tower. Use the 10th floor Skybridge from either tower. There is a separate bank of elevators that take you directly to the parking lobby. Otherwise, you need to use the slow, overcrowded elevators in the main foyer down to check-in (South Tower) or use the crowded bridge from the Grand Canal Shops (North Tower). My favorite thing to do is drink at the Palazzo pool. It's such a pleasant environment though the Venetian pools are also very nice. Pretty much everything at the Palazzo is quieter. Certain things have gone downhill significantly in recent years, particularly the clientele. We witnessed two fist fights in the casino and security was nowhere to be found. It seems that anyone can visit the pool and I am guessing the majority of the people in the horribly crowded casino were not even staying at the hotel. It has gained too much of a "partier" reputation compared to before. The Tao Beach Club is a big part of this. It is very loud if your room faces the pool. Read less

Travelled with 2 kids aged 10 and 14, they had their own room. If you've never been before The venetian is a breathtaking experience on check in, the car valet and into the reception and walk to the room. we were staying in the North tower in recenrly modernised suites with views of the strip and the rooms were big, comfortable and modern. rooms were nice and quiet at night. we were on the 25th floor which meant we could reach the pools on the 4th and 10th floor without changing elevators. Reception got us and the kids on the same floor. location was good - an indoor walk to the sphere (better from the outside than inside IMO) and walking distance to the main attractions on the strip like bellagio fountains, etc. Disliked · the north tower overlooks the Tao swimming pool. It is a nightclub by day (possibly just at the weekend when we were there) with big name DJs. The place is absolutely HEAVING, not a spare spot in the pool which was impressive to look down on from our room - like human soup! but the noise from the club was pounding and, if we were in the rooms much around 4pm would have been disturbing. South tower would have avoided this. Breakfast was a surprising hassle. Room service menu is limited and would have taken 1hr when we called and there were long lines at starbucks and le bouchon cafe. view of the strip from the room wasnt great. was on an angle and opposite is just a huge building site where they are building a new hotel which was a bit ugly. would proabbly have prefered a sphere view. all in all it was fine but with two rooms it was a hefty bill so I'm more demanding. Awesome hotel, lots of restaurants, great access to parking garage, nearby hotels, shops, poker, slots and dining. Room was totally quiet, everything worked properly, great maid service.
