The hotel

Las Vegas excels at delivering the impossible in wonderful ways. Where else can you touch down in the Mojave desert and, within 15 minutes, find yourself being serenaded on a gondola ride to St Mark’s Square? A magnificent greatest hits of Venice’s architecture and canals located in the middle of The Strip, the all-suite Venetian is probably the most romantic hotel in Vegas, so let yourself be seduced. As a guest at any hotel, you would assume that you would be treated properly with decent hospitality. I seriously disliked certain employees’ attitude and behavior at this hotel. I stayed there for 2 nights and did not park at the Venetian self parking structure until the last day, literally 2 hours before checking out as we changed our parking spot last minute. I had issues getting the ticket at the parking machine and called for assistance but they said the gate is open and I should see a ticket printed out but there was no ticket. So I decided to check with the hotel later when we were actually checking out. So right after we checked out online, I forgot to take the card key from the room as I exited the room, which I would need to exit the parking structure and saw a cleaning lady there and asked if she could open the door for me. She said she cannot for security reasons, which I totally get, but I had my confirmation and proof that I booked that suite and still she said she cannot open the door for me to get the card key and that I had to go to the lobby for that seriously!?! And let me say that it all happened before the check out time… anyways then we got to the lobby area and asked this lady at guests invited section called Myrna if I could still exit the parking without the card key… since I left it in the room by accident and she suddenly gave me this attitude and said you will have to pay for the 2 nights… I was like I just parked here this morning why would I pay for 2 nights? Her overall face expression was so not friendly or welcoming. If there was an immediate feedback for her overall service, I would have just given zero stars… I freaking paid for the room and to be a guest at this hotel, I don’t need your attitude or poor service… thank you for making my last day feeling like crap. Good job Venetian! Read less

Overall the resort was good. Pros 1. Everything that you need to enjoy or see was at walking distance. 2. Suite view was good. 3. Staff was extremely helpful in answering any questions or concerns. Cons 1. No microwave or refrigerator in the suite. 2.Except the stay everything else comes with a separate cost.

Best resort in LV. If you're lucky you'll get Deanna as your host. Clean rooms, fun games, great vibe. I highly recommend.

Our trip was wonderful until we discovered upon checking out that we were charged a $566.90 smoking charge! Neither my husband nor myself have ever smoked a day in our lives! We were absolutely flabbergasted when the desk manager told us there was nothing that could be done. This is insulting to both of us because we are being accused of something… Read more
