First time in Vegas to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday and TI did not disappoint!
Check In: Slow- wait time 30+ mins, but, professional and efficient once checked in. Received a welcomed upgrade to strip view and smoking room. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I had a small billing issue on checkout- staff were quick to rectify, and I had no issues once I got home.
Location: Great- close to the Sphere, Venetian/Palazzo and the Fashion Show Mall. Easy to walk anywhere
Room: 36th floor strip view smoking room- clean and comfortable with everything in working condition. Air conditioning was excellent throughout our stay. Water pressure great. Bedding comfortable.
Atmosphere: The casino floor was relatively quiet the entire trip, especially at night which was surprising. Lots of tables and slots to choose from. Drink service was excellent, waitresses were nice and around constantly no matter what time of day or night. Main areas clean and well taken care of despite being an older property.
Bars: Enjoyed the Breeze Bar multiple times per day everyday. Happy hour specials were reasonable. Bartenders were efficient and friendly.
Amenities: Pool was small but clean. Refreshing temperature. Lifeguard on site. We enjoyed the use of the pool and hot tub. Bar service available as well as towels and a small snack stand.
We did not dine on site but our family members who stayed on site ate at Gillys for lunch and said it was delicious.
Amenities: Starbucks on site, convenience store on the top level offering coffee and a donut for $5 in the AM, which was a great deal. CVS on main floor was great for alcohol, snacks and sundry items. Handful of bars and restaurants on site for convenience. Access to Cirque show Mystere. Bathrooms come stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, body gel, lotion, and shower cap. Room had empty mini fridge which was a huge plus. Security on site 24/7. Rideshare/Taxi stand outside in a convenient location.
Overall Impression: Great hotel for those who wish to be out exploring but want conveniences on site, like food and drink. While it was not fancy or pretentious as many of the other large hotels on the strip, the rooms were decent for the price, staff were friendly, and the location was great for walking, taxis, and a short drive to Fremont Street.
I was concerned given some of the reviews in the months leading up to our stay- but I have no complaints. Would 100% stay here again. Thank you TI for a memorable stay. Can't wait to visit again.
