Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

Designed for those who want to tap into the energy and excitement of Las Vegas but would prefer to enjoy it from an exclusive, non-gaming and smoke-free resort, Vdara is one of few hotels in Vegas not to house a casino. What you get instead is a cosmopolitan, all-suite hotel that feels blissfully private despite being in the heart of the action. The cutting-edge pool is surrounded by private retreats, semi-private plunge pools and cabanas; there’s a world-class spa, and you are a few short minutes away from a dizzying range of dining, shopping and entertainment options, so you’ll never be short of things to do. The Vdara really is an oasis in the desert.

Enjoyed my stay here last month. The absence of a casino made the lobby calm and less chaotic. The room was spacious and had gorgeous views plus it was nice to have a kitchenette. The bar in the lobby served great drinks. The location was optimal to be able to walk to things without being directly on the strip.

Vdara was great - really nice rooms, centrally located, and also it was nice that it was quite with no casino on property but super easy access to Aria and the Bellagio. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and casino! The bagel restaurant was exceptional! The details and layout of the grounds is amazing. I also was impressed by the sports bar and restaurant. Looking forward to visiting this casino again!

The view from our room fountain view room was one of the best we've ever experienced in Vegas. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge with a separate shower, bath, and plenty of countertop space. Although the Vdara is 'off-strip' it is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) via a connected (and airconditioned!) walkway to the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan, or to the free tram which provides access as far up the strip as Park MGM (next to New York New York). We have stayed at Caesars and Planet Hollywood in the past and due to the casino floor the walk to the strip is longer and, in Caesars case, can be even further. As Vdara is a no-smoking and no-gambling hotel it operates like a 'normal' hotel which meant we found it much easier to navigate and getting back to the room via the elevators was always quick. Additionally, we found check-in fast even though we were checking-in at 3pm when the room became available and never saw the check-in queue that long when compared to other hotels in Vegas. On-site at Vdara there is a lack of restaurants and bars, however there is a 24hr onsite shop which sells hot and cold food/drinks to go and, as mentioned, the Vdara is very well connected to other hotels. Aria being a 2 minute walk away. Final note - be prepared for a LONG wait at the Starbucks in the morning, it gets very busy and also serves click and collect orders. Read less
