Absolutely, positively, worst experience of my business career. Between hidden fees and charging $25 for a water OUTSIDE the fridge, is utter financial rubbish. You should be ashamed of yourself and for ones staying at this hotel for the first time. No explanation of costs or prices for room service and the expected tip to walk your food upstairs on an elevator May I add, is pure ignorance. The expectation that you have the money at check out on things you were unaware of is not okay in any sense. I will NEVER stay at this hotel EVER and I pray and hope you won’t either. You got me fired and should be more accommodating to those unfamiliar with hidden fees and sensors on a freaking fridge. No airport shuttle either. Too hard to find. This review doesn’t show how inconvenient it is getting up to your room if you’re coming off a late flight and NO ONE was willing to assist me. What if I were elderly or disabled? Hmm? A S H A M E D! Thanks for coming to my ted talk. DONE. Read less

I am an avid traveler and when I saw 2 bottles of water and 2 coffees outside the mini bar with no sign saying these were part of it I figured it was the 1 free amenity I was receiving. Not only was it not free the price was insane when I checked out. $25 for a bottle of Figi water which even on their website costs $3 and $8 for 1 Keurig coffee pod. Are they insane? This is just down right rude! They want zero interaction with their guests, the bottom sheet is a top sheet and doesn't stay on the bed, the housekeepers don't even show up, and they don't give a discount to locals for anything. If you get a great price I say go but I wouldn't recommend it. Read less

We had a reservation for Mandalay Bay, but paid to upgrade to a two-room suite at the W Hotel when we went to check in. The hotel was less crowded and noisy than typical hotels on the strip (similar to the Signature Hotel compared to MGM Grand). The bed was so comfortable and the views were great (we had a corner room). The only bummer was that when we checked in, we noticed the fridge would not open and a panel fell off it. We told the front desk that day (day of check in) and unfortunately it was not fixed the whole time we were there. It would have been nice to store bottled water and drinks in it. We didn't press the issue, but it kept me from giving it 5 stars. Read less

W Las Vegas (formerly Delano Hotel), is my home away from home. As a loyal MGM Reward member, My husband and I are "gifted" complimentary stays at the W Las Vegas Hotel and all MGM properties. W is one of the hotels we choose to stay whenever we visit Las Vegas because it is the only hotel that I know of that has a separate bedroom and 1/2 bath configuration for their rooms. The W will be undergoing a renovation, hopefully by December of 2025, as it was acquired by Marriott in 2024. Currently, the rooms need a paint refresh, shower renovation and carpet change. As a Marriott property, it would be nice to have in-room coffee. If you decide to stay at the W, ask for the Staywell room. The premier king suite is 725 sf, has a room air purification system, Vitamin C shower infuser, circadian lighting, etc. View the complete description of amenities on their website. Th only con may be its location. It is attached to the Mandalay Bay hotel and, as such, it is located at the opposite end of the MB. However, this may be viewed as a pro since it is away from the congestion and noise associated with a larger hotel. I'm sure you won't regret staying at the W. If you are a loyal MGM Rewards member and have accrued a platinum tier status, you could request access to their VIP lounge where you will be greeted by some of the most friendliest staff who knows how to treat you like a VIP. An array of pastries, cookies, popcorn, and fresh fruit await you to enjoy with a variety of coffee/tea, and wine/alcoholic beverages. Enjoy Read less

We had to trudge through 1,000 people waiting for Michael Jackson show. The lines are a joke, dropped bag of water 3 times trying to walk around people. They don’t care about guests checking in, found elevators before lobby. Once I got to lobby, the host Rose talked down to me in a condescending tone. I am Marriott Titanium rewards there is a partnership and I was informed to tell W hotel I am Marriott when checking in with priority. Rose laughed and insulted me, told me “ yes, surely you can tell me you’re Marriott” but then shared at me rudely and there was no priority or civility. I asked for her Manager, who treated me badly as well. April is her name, she was reluctant to provide me the lousy coworker name and her senior manager name Ani. I lugged nine bags from Mandaly entrance to W to be treted badly in May 12th 2025. I will never stay here again and do yourself a fovor and stay elsewhere. Read less
