Excellent Dinner

Excellent dinner. Our group of eight had a wonderful time at the Queen Anne Inn. The food, our server and the ambience were all first rate. Our NOLA trained chef outdid himself. Maria, our server, was delightful.
We’ll be back. Good value and great food.

Absolutely excellent from the welcome to departure ( and beyond !). Dana explained all the hotel facilities and all the local attractions to us. Breakfast was excellent - well prepared and served. Our room was very spacious with a lovely balcony and full of all the toiletries you could want. Very comfortable bed. Dana provided Beach towels too. Nothing was too much trouble for them. After we had checked out we had driven about 20 miles before we realised a suitcase was missing - Dana had spotted that and had tried to catch up with us to deliver the case but we were a bit long gone. We called her and she was waiting for us on our return to hand the case over . Such service. Would always stay here . Thanks for a lovely stay . Her restaurant recommendations were spot on too - Pates and Viera.

Mediocre but well located

The Inn seems past its prime. Upkeep of decks and common areas appeared spotty, and the much touted breakfasts were mediocre and pointlessly fussy (watch out for syrup added to everything). Light sleepers note: very creaky beds and noisy nextdoor plumbing. A disappointment overall.
Good Enough!

We (@wolfestreettravel on Instagram and at wolfestreettravel.com) spent 2 nights at the Queen Anne Inn as part of a 2.5-month-long road trip through New England and eastern Canada to escape our hometown's oppressive summer heat. Before picking Queen Anne Inn for our stay, we obsessively evaluated Chatham Bars Inn (way too expensive for what you're getting), Chatham Inn (almost as expensive and no pool - Chatham Inn is Relais & Chateau, which is one of our preferred collections, and still we didn't bite), and Wequassett (which was not walking distance from town). Queen Anne Inn is decidedly a lower-key, more traditional 3-star-type lodging, but an absolutely fantastic value, relative to the rates that characterized our other choices. Easy walking distance to the main street through town and a charming little pool. We were happy with our choice.
