To help ensure our customers can continue travelling as planned during the busy summer period, selected Virgin Atlantic flights between Manchester and Atlanta, and Manchester and New York JFK, will be operated by Wamos Air on behalf of Virgin Atlantic between 17 July and 4 September 2026.
Wamos Air is a Spanish airline that will be operating a small number of flights for Virgin Atlantic during this period. The aircraft being used is an Airbus A330-300 operated by Wamos Air on behalf of Virgin Atlantic. Having previously formed part of the Virgin Atlantic fleet, the seat layout is consistent with our Airbus A330-300 aircraft and includes Upper Class, Premium, Economy Delight and Economy cabins
This temporary arrangement will help support our flying programme, strengthen operational resilience and reduce the risk of disruption during one of our busiest travel periods, helping more of our customers to travel as planned.
Flights will continue to operate under the same Virgin Atlantic flight numbers and schedules, and your booking will remain unchanged. These flights will be operated by Wamos Air crew on behalf of Virgin Atlantic, with Virgin Atlantic team members also onboard to provide additional support during the flight.
Virgin Atlantic remains your airline and point of contact before, during and after your journey.
