About Suzanne
As Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Atlantic, Suzanne oversees the safety, efficiency and excellence of the airline’s flying and ground operation. Her remit includes Flight Operations, Engineering & Maintenance, Airports, Network Operations, Crew Logistics, Safety & Security (including compliance and health), Business Continuity and Facilities.
Suzanne has held a number of leadership roles since joining Virgin Atlantic in 2018.
Most recently, she served as Vice President Airports, Clubhouses and Network Operations, where she led complex, large-scale operational teams and played a key role in restarting the global network following the Covid-19 pandemic, strengthening operational resilience, delivering record on-time performance and improving customer experience.
Prior to joining Virgin Atlantic, Suzanne held senior leadership roles across human resources, organisational development and executive leadership. She holds a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Southampton and professional qualifications in human resources. She lives in Sussex with her husband, dog and slightly too many cats, and enjoys ballet and Pilates in her spare time.
